Mini-van commercial: not so much. It actually isn’t that bad of a song, except it is really confusing when he is singing in front of all of the people about his crush. That = EXTREMELY awkward.

The video is a perfect complement to the song - it’s young, fresh and David conveys the emotions in the lyrics effectively. The camera loves him, and he has a natural charm that translates well in his interaction with the cast. The director didn’t try to present him as something he is not - he is a 17 year old super talented artist who has done a great job in his first video. Get used to him, cause CRUSH is his ticket to stardom.
