Janet Jackson was rushed to a hospital last night in Montreal, Canada after becoming suddenly ill during a soundcheck two hours before a scheduled performance. The show was canceled at the last minute due to her illness.

This is the second cancellation in the past few days for Janet’s Rock Witchu Tour. She canceled a Detroit show on Friday due to “production constraints.”

No word yet on details of Janet’s illness.

Update: According to Page Six, Jermaine Dupri threw up on Janet the other night after drinking Jay-Z’s Ace of Spades Champagne. Page Six reports,

The other night, Dupri and his squeeze, Janet Jackson went to Tenjune, where, spies say, they shared bottles of Jay-Z’s Ace of Spades Champagne and Patrón tequila with Ne-Yo, Busta Rhymes and Ice-T - until Dupri “vomited in Janet’s lap. Ms. Jackson bolted out of the scene and sped off in her chauffeured Maybach.”

Moral of the story? Steer clear of Jay-Z’s Ace of Spades Champagne.

Update#2: Whatever it really was couldn’t have been too serious. Janet was released from the hospital after staying for only two hours, shorter than most celebrity prison sentences.
