Page Six is reporting that Mariah Carey arrived at President Barack Obama’s Inauguration the other day, only to find that she would not be standing with the president’s family during the event.  Instead, she was assigned to the omg-so-embarassing VIP area with Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen and Alicia Keys.  Ewww cooties.

A source says that Mariah stormed off angrily, opting to skip the stupid ceremony altogether.  We’re guessing she’s in her underground lair now, plotting to get a republican president in the Oval Office in four years.
