Nicole Richie and Angelina Jolie are following in Madonna’s footsteps by donating their babies’ used clothes and other items to charity.  Both celebs have taken the classy route though, and rather than shipping an old box of crap to an orphanage like Madonna did, they’ve instead put their items up for auction on handmedowns.com.

Nicole’s auctions, which include baby Harlow’s clothes, shoes, and a stroller, will run until April 17.  All proceeds will go to benefit her charity, the Richie-Madden Foundation.

Angelina will be putting up auctions of her kids’ clothes and toys for bid next month.
