Lane Garrison To Be Released From Prison

Prison Break actor Lane Garrison, who was found guilty of vehicular manslaughter in 2007 after killing a 17-year-old boy while drinking and driving, will be released from prison in the next few weeks.
A spokesman for the California Department of Corrections confirmed yesterday that the actor had earned enough good behavior credits to avoid having to serve out his entire 40-month prison term.
After Lane’s release, he will be on probation for an undisclosed period of time.
News also surfaced yesterday that Lane had finally settled two lawsuits brought about by the victims and their families. One lawsuit was filed by the parents of slain student, Vahagn Setian, and the other by Michelle Ohana, another person injured in the accident.
Update: Although the prison is refusing to comment on Lane’s exact release date, we’ve got some good intel saying that he’ll be walking free on April 29.
We’re also hearing that Jessica Simpson has arranged a limo to pick him up and take him home. Apparently these two, who are childhood friends, have been in contact since the beginning of his incarceration.
