Our most trusty tabloid resource, Star Magazine is reporting that in order to get over his teen idol image, Zac Efron is seriously considering breaking up with his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.

Zac, who dropped out of the Footloose remake in a bid to avoid being typecast as an actor who only does musicals and dumb teen movies, is being told by friends that dating another Disney star is the biggest thing holding back his career.

According to sources, Zac is planning to make his escape from Vanessa-the-Disney-girlfriend this summer when he’s set to travel to eastbumfuck New England to shoot The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud.
