According to several witnesses, Terrence Howard stopped six lanes of traffic in front of the Mikimoto store on Wilshire and Rodeo in Beverly Hills the other day, all to save a baby bird trying to cross the street.

Sources say that Terrence saw someone run out of the jewelry store, attempting to stop the baby bird from wandering out in front of a bus. Fast-acting Terrence joined the rescue effort by running into the road with his hands up to stop traffic and guide his new feathered friend to safety.

Both Terrence and the bird left the scene unharmed.
