American Idol runner-up David Archuleta’s father was charged and fined $582 after pleading no contest yesterday to soliciting a prostitute back in January.

Jeff Archuleta was caught during a raid earlier this year when cops busted into the Queens of Reiki massage parlor in Midvale, Utah, and found Jeff in a room having some sort of sexual activity with a female masseuse. According to Police Sgt. John Salazar,

Inside they found a female masseuse and male client. At that time an interview ensued and the male client admitted to receiving sexual gratification from the masseuse.

Jeff’s lawyer claims that his client was simply getting a regular massage for his aching back.
