Phil Spector Gets A New Fungus-Infested Home
When Phil Spector complained that his jail, the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility & State Prison was unsafe, authorities agreed to move him to Pleasant Valley State Prison for his protection. Now, however, his wife is saying that Phil’s afraid that the new prison will kill him because it is infested with the fungus which causes Valley Fever.
The wife recently told Page Six,
They are sending Phil there to die. He is scared to death. When I saw him on Saturday, he was shaking . . . He’s 70 years old and 130 pounds . . . We are trying to appeal over this, but he’s been told he has no time. He’s already been given his bus pass out of Corcoran.
16 inmates have died from Valley Fever at the not-so-Pleasant Valley jail in the past 4 years.
