Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff who broke off their engagement just a few days ago, took the stage together for a passionate dance at the Emmys last night, but sources backstage say that off-camera, these two weren’t exactly so sweet.

Sources reportedly heard the ex-couple yelling and screaming at one another before hopping on stage for their performance. Maksim was supposedly pissed off at Karina for taking too long to get her hair and makeup ready. Karina was pissed at Maksim for getting pissed at her.

This won’t be the last time working together for these two. They’ll be putting up with one another for the entire next season of Dancing With The Stars.
