Avril Lavigne finally got around to filing for divorce from her husband Deryck Whibley.

The singer cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce. She asked to not pay or receive spousal support.

According to sources, Avril dumped Deryck after about three years of marriage, and kicked him out of their L.A. home in September. The next day, she posted a message on her blog, announcing their separation. At the time, Deryck was reportedly upset over the demise of his marriage.
