Yesterday, Randy Jackson accused someone of forging his brother Michael Jackson’s will, after he realized that Michael had been in New York City on the day that the will was supposedly signed in Los Angeles.

TMZ is now reporting however, that the will was entirely valid, and that it was signed by Michael in NYC on July 7, 2002. One of the witnesses had just accidentally written the location as “Los Angeles” on the documentation.

The lawyer for the estate, Howard Weitzman confirmed today that he was present when Michael inked the papers in 2002. The location mistake apparently did not invalidate the will.
