Adam Lambert has reportedly split from his boyfriend Drake LaBry.

The gay American Idol star first went public with the relationship in Rolling Stone Magazine in June. According to sources, the couple split up to give Adam more time to focus on his career. One friend told US Weekly,

Adam is crazy busy right now getting the album done and squeezing in rehearsals. They both felt this moment is too important for Adam to focus on anything else but getting this album out and having it be a huge hit.

Adam and Drake plan to remain friends.
