Paris Hilton: My Head Is Not Vacant
Paris Hilton’s manager announced yesterday that the heiress’ lawyers are planning to contact a New Zealand company called Media5, to discuss the legalities of a giant billboard that they currently have on display. As you can see from the picture above, the billboard features a smiling Paris, with the word “Vacant” printed under her face.
According to Paris’ people, Media5 had no rights to use the image. Adam McGregor, a Media5 employee, told New Zealand newspaper, the Star Times, that his company wasn’t trying to sell anything with Paris’ name, but that they were only trying to draw attention to their unsold billboards. He praised Paris by calling her pretty, and saying that she “has a proven ability to laugh at herself”. According to Adam, Media5 had just assumed that the boutique agency that came up with the concept had cleared the rights for them to use the image. He added that they would promptly take the billboard down if asked to do so by Paris’ lawyers.
