The LAPD passed Mike Tyson’s LAX paparazzi assault case to L.A. prosecutors yesterday morning.

The city attorney is currently investigating the case. No word yet on whether or not he plans to charge Mike with criminal battery. The photographer, Tony Echevarria is also facing possible charges for possibly instigating the fight.

Mike claimed after the incident that he only hit Tony to defend his kid after Tony touched a stroller that the kid was sitting in. Both Mike and Tony were arrested at the scene.
