According to their 2008 tax return, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie gave a lot of money to charity last year - $6.8 million to be exact, which came to a little more than half of their $13 million income.

The money was donated to a variety of different charities through their Jolie-Pitt Foundation, including $2 million to The Global Health Council, $1 million to Brad’s Make It Right foundation, and another $1 million to the Human Rights Watch. The couple also game smaller sums of money to The Armed Services YMCA of the US Army, several schools in Brad’s hometown of Springfield, Missouri, and a few charities in Cambodia, where their son Maddox was born.
