Jude Law reportedly called Samantha Burke up around Christmas time and asked her if he could come over and see his illegitimate kid, Sophia sometime in the next few weeks.

According to News of the World, Samantha is excited about the visit, not because her kid will finally have a chance to meet her daddy, but because she’s hoping that Jude will fall in love with her again when he shows up. One insider told the British tabloid,

She told us they would get back together but I think Jude just feels a responsibility to his daughter.

Jude is currently busy rebuilding his relationship with Sienna Miller.
