Patrick Aufdenkamp Probably Stole Lindsay Lohan’s Stolen Sketches
Lindsay Lohan, who pointed her finger at her friend Patrick Aufdenkamp for stealing her 6126 sketches the other day, is now being accused of stealing those same designs from other people.
Yesterday, website Fashionista.com accused Lindsay of copying a dress made by designer Jen Kao, and renaming it “Deserve” for her 6126 line. Jen released the following statement, addressing the claim:
While we are all well aware that being ‘mimicked’ or ‘copied’ has always existed in this industry, I think the evolution of it all has grown to an alarming level. It’s a shame to support the concept of taking advantage of designers who are still trying to develop a name and solidify the image of their design aesthetic.
Today, WWD pointed out that Lindsay’s new design for her “Diamond” leggings look exactly the same as James Lillis’ “Sheer Spartans”.
Kristi Kaylor, president of Lindsay’s line has released a statement slamming the accusations and calling the similarities “purely coincidental”.
