Gossip Girl’s Ed Westwick and one of his male friends were spotted buying condoms at a convenience store in Hollywood yesterday, while two girls (neither of them Ed’s girlfriend Jessica Szohr) waited for them in his car.

According to a source, Ed, who appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance, tried his best to hide his purchase from photographers who had followed him into the store. Photos here.
