One of Tiger Woods’ mistresses, Rachel Uchitel has canceled her January 29th party to celebrate her 35th birthday, to avoid the media circus surrounding high-profile event.

Rachel’s lawyer Gloria Allred released a statement yesterday saying,

The media attention was unexpected and unwelcome and for that reason the planned party at a club will not take place.

The invite for the party which had described Rachel as a “Celebrity Socialite”, had been making the rounds on the internet for the past few days.

Word has it that he’s celebrating the special day in a rehab center, recovering from reconstructive surgery to his face (caused by his wife Elin and a golf club).

Rumor has it that Heidi Montag skipped out on her sister Holly’s birthday party over the weekend because Holly didn’t have the money to pay her for the appearance. According to a source,

Holly was really wishing that her sister could just be a sister and stop by her birthday party, but Heidi only goes places if she is getting paid.

Heidi’s husband Spencer Pratt also skipped out on the event. His sister Stephanie did attend, but she got hit with a DUI arrest on her way home.

Jon Gosselin only had a few hours with his kids today, but he still made some time to come outside to chit chat with the paparazzi, and to sign a few t-shirts for his fans.

Jon Gosselin is trying to win the record for most articles written about him in one day. Here’s the latest: according to him, he and his ex, Kate had previously worked out an agreement where they would both be allowed to spend all birthdays and holidays together with their kids.

Well tomorrow just happens to be Mady and Cara’s birthdays, but because Jon recently stole a few hundred thousand dollars from the family bank account, Kate has decided that she would prefer it if they would split the time with their kids on that day instead. She kindly assigned Jon the 4PM to 6PM time slot. Here’s Jon’s response:

She can’t tell me what to do. I’m not going to allow it. I’m just going to stay. I own the house so I can do what I want.

We hope one of them calls the cops on the other. It’ll totally make for the best 9th birthday party ever.

Brody Jenner had his appendix removed at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. after the thing ruptured around 3 a.m today. His mom, brother, manager, and girlfriend Jayde Nicole were all present for the event.

Brody is now recovering. His appendix is not.

Today is Brody’s birthday.

Madonna reportedly made her plaything Jesus Luz cry the other day after she refused to wear a few $3 traditional Brazilian bracelets that he gave to her for her 51st birthday.

The bracelets from the Bahia area apparently grant wishes when they break off. Madonna refused to wear the gifts for good reason. The strings totally didn’t match her Kabbalah bracelets. Sources say that the pair kissed and made up the next day.

While eating some yummy jalapeno cornbread and ribs poolside at the Palms hotel and casino, Michael Jackson’s father Joe told the NY Daily News that his son would be given the ultimate birthday present at the end of this month - burial! According to Joe, the King of Pop will finally be buried at 10AM on August 29th - the day that would have been his 51st birthday.

Michael’s final resting place will be the Forest Lawn Cemetery in the Hollywood Hills. His body will be staying in a secret freezer until then.

We’re not really sure what exactly went on during Jennifer Lopez’s 40th birthday party over the weekend, but whatever it was, the big-butted singer/actress didn’t want us to see it. She reportedly instructed security to hold everyone’s cell phones and cameras at the door.

Guests at the party in NY’s Hotel Griffou, included Madonna, Rihanna, Beyonce, Alicia Keys and Mary J Blige.

Selena Gomez who just turned the big 1-7, celebrated her big day by showing off a few piles of awesome gifts that her fans had bought for her with mommy and daddy’s disposable incomes.

Lindsay Lohan was reportedly so broke that she was forced to attend her own birthday party last weekend for some extra bank.

According to sources, Lindsay was paid $70,000 for making an appearance at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The pool party was also slated as a promotional event for Lindsay’s self-tanner, Sevyn Nine. Not many of Lindsay’s celebrity friends were present at the bash, where she brought her brother as her date, posed for paparazzi cameras, and made a point to avoid the alcohol.

Lindsay’s actual birthday is tomorrow, and she reportedly plans to celebrate for real with some “friends” in L.A.

The latest issue of US Weekly is reporting that while Kate Gosselin was celebrating her birthday with her eight kids at Ace of Cakes, her husband Jon was in Utah blazing it up with friends. According to a source, Jon told a friend, “Hey, it’s Kate’s birthday. I should get her something.” Jon then had a few drinks with his girlfriend Deanna Hummel, and smoked a little pot with his friends, and the next thing he knew, Kate’s birthday was yesterday, and he never got a chance to buy that present.

Kate should be happy though, Jon most likely didn’t have a coupon, and according to her, “we never buy anything without a coupon”.

Candy Spelling left her granddaughter Stella McDermott high and dry on her 1st birthday this past weekend after she RSVPed, but then decided not to go to her party at the last minute.

According to sources close to Candy, she just wasn’t comfortable meeting her granddaughter in front of Oxygen network reality show cameras, which she was told would be present at the event.

Tori’s camp is claiming that Candy was told about the cameras in advance, but that she had chosen to RSVP regardless. An hour before the start of the party however, Candy sent Tori an email declining the invitation. Tori reportedly did not receive the email until after the party. 

Candy, who has been feuding with her daughter Tori for years, had recently been complaining to the media that she had never been invited to meet Tori’s new baby.
