Hilary Duff is pulling a Lauran Conrad, and “writing” a book series for teens.
The actress has just signed a deal with Simon and Schuster to release the first book in the series on October 12. The book will be called Elixer, and will be about a photographer named Clea Raymond. The second book in the series will focus on divorcing parents and is set to drop in 2012.
According to that new Angelina Jolie tell-all book ‘Brad Pitt and Angelina: The True Story’ by Jenny Paul, Angelina had flings with Mick Jagger, Colin Farrell, and many others before meeting her current partner, Brad Pitt.
The book claims that Angelina had slept with Mick a number of times during her marriage to Jonny Lee Miller (and his marriage to Jerry Hall), and then again shortly after her split from Billy Bob Thornton. This info supposedly comes from some of Angelina’s “friends” and her mother’s ex-boyfriend. Jenny also reveals a relationship between Angelina and Colin Farrell in 2004. That apparently ended when Angelina felt that Colin’s drinking was becoming a bad influence on her son Maddox.
The book also claims that Angelina and Brad will have a total of 13 kids.
Parents beware, Tori Spelling is reportedly working on her very first children’s book.
The book will be called “Presenting…Tallulah”, and will be about a little girl who is always being told “no”.
The book will hit shelves on September 21st.
If you hadn’t yet noticed, Lauren Conrad has just topped the NY Times’ Bestseller list for the second time in a few months.
Her new book, Sweet Little Lies is a sequel to her first young-adult novel, L.A. Candy. It’s currently holding the No. 1 spot on the Children’s Chapter Books list.
Lauren is still insisting that there was no ghostwriter involved in the writing of either book. She’s now in talks to produce a movie based on L.A. Candy.
Linda Bollea is reportedly “writing” a tell-all book about her traumatic life with her ex-husband Hulk Hogan. The book will also cover her son Nick’s serious car accident, and her life accomplishments (we’re actually pretty curious about what those are exactly).
She’s currently shopping around for a publisher, and is hoping to have it out on shelves before the end of the year.
This book comes about a year after Hulk released his version of their marriage story, entitled “My Life Outside the Rings”.
If madam, Michelle Braun is to be believed, until recently, Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends weren’t just using the old man as their sugar daddy; most of them may have been doing a little work of their own on the side.
Michelle, who used to run the high-class escort agency Nici’s Girls, is currently writing a tell-all book where she claims that she spent years whoring out the Playboy girls for as much as $10,000 per night. Some of her clients supposedly included two kings, several famous athletes, and a well-known TV personality. Michelle claims that at one point, as many as eight women living in the mansion were working as call girls.
Michelle was arrested and charged for money laundering after she was caught operating her call girl business online under the cover of a travel and security business. She pleaded guilty earlier this year, and was sentenced to three years probation. Her new book is expected to be ready for publish around the new year.

Lauren Conrad is reportedly working on further developing her literary career by releasing a new book called “Lauren Conrad Style”.
The new style guide, published by Harper Collins, will hit shelves next year. Lauren released a statement about the book yesterday, saying,
I am really excited to write a style guide. I think fashion should be fun and reflective of who you are. When you wear clothes you feel good in, it shows in everything you do. I know this guide will offer simple, practical tips to help anyone look fabulous.
Lauren’s first book L.A. Candy, which we’re pretty sure she didn’t really write, spent a few weeks on the New York Times Best Seller list earlier this year.
Carrie Prejean, whose sex tape is currently bouncing around the desks of various media sources, had a few things to say about the recent popularity of pornography in her new tell-all book. Her ghostwriter she wrote,
Unfortunately, pornography has become mainstreamed — it rushes at us through big screens, portable screens; soft-core porn is on mainstream TV cable stations, hard-core porn is just a mouse click away on the internet, and the envelope of what seems acceptable seems to get pushed farther and farther as more and more people are exposed to this material.

Marc Headley, a guy who worked as Tom Cruise’s apprentice at the Southern California Scientology headquarters, has just released a book, titled “Blown for Good”, which reveals all of Tom’s deepest, darkest Scientology secrets.
The book exposes some of Tom’s interesting antics, including his “book-and-bottle routine”, where he would spend days yelling at books, bottles, and door knobs, in order to “rehabilitate [his] ability to control things”.
Marc worked for Tom 19 years ago, and according to him, he was hired because Tom thought he was a trustworthy person who wouldn’t go public with the story. Unfortunately, Tom was wrong. The book’s available here, in case you’re interested.
After getting punched in the face by a fan, Leona Lewis has canceled the rest of he book tour. Her rep announced the news this morning saying,
Leona was due to go to Germany today for promo but that has now been cancelled. Leona is obviously shocked after yesterday but is OK.
Leona is expected to make her major UK show show rehearsals, which are scheduled for next week.
Leona Lewis was rushed to a hospital today, after a man, who had waited patiently in line at her book signing, punched her in the face when it was his turn.
Five bodyguards contained the attacker, and Leona was taken to the emergency room, where she was treated for injuries. The man was arrested by police shortly after.
A friend of Leona’s described the attack to reporters today, saying,
Leona was utterly shocked and appalled as it came out of nowhere. The man queued up patiently, then as soon as she signed his book he smashed her in the face. He didn’t say anything to her and she is at a loss as to why anyone would do such an evil thing.
She is devastated as she comes from quite a humble background and loves meeting her fans. She was doing a three-hour signing and planned to sign hundreds of books.
Leona’s rep released a statement today, apologizing to the fans who were unable to have their books signed due to the incident.
Temple Hill Entertainment is turning Lauren Conrad’s NY Times Bestseller, L.A. Candy into a movie. Temple Hill partner Marty Bowen told Variety,
Lauren, who became an icon in that reality show world, came to us with a structure of how to tell the story in an interesting fashion that was separate and apart from the book. We loved her take. Her book is an honest portrayal of what it must be like to set out to be normal, then sign on to become famous and eventually realize, wow, this isn’t at all what I’d planned for myself.
Lauren won’t be writing the film (not that she really wrote the book), but she will be “shaping the direction of the script”.
Former child star Mackenzie Phillips has been popping up everywhere these days with stories about her not-so-happy upbringing. Apparently she’s trying to sell her memoir, “High On Arrival”.
Yesterday, she taped an appearance on Oprah to dish about how her musician dad John Phillips shot her up for the first time.
On top of that, an excerpt from her book was released which detailed the time that her daddy had sex with her right before her wedding to Jeff Sessler. Here’s a little passage:
My father was not a man with boundaries. He was full of love, and he was sick with drugs. I woke up that night from a blackout to find myself having sex with my own father.
Had this happened before? I didn’t know. All I can say is it was the first time I was aware of it. For a moment I was in my body, in that horrible truth, and then I slid back into a blackout.
Mackenzie continued on about how she eventually grew to enjoy the incestuous relationship, even revealing that her dad tried to talk her into moving to Fiji where people supposedly were cool with that sort of thing. She thought that was “completely delusional”. Mackenzie’s full Oprah interview airs today. We can’t wait.
Kendra Wilkinson is reportedly writing a book - well someone else will probably write it, but her name will show up on the cover. The upcoming memoir will cover Kendra’s big life events, from growing up, to banging an elderly man, to getting married and having a baby.
Simon Spotlight Entertainment has signed on to publish the memoir which will come out some time next summer.
