Word had it late last night that Brittany Murphy had left her entire estate to her mom Sharon upon her death in a will that was written before she was married. Another will was reportedly drafted later on along with a trust, which stated that she was intentionally leaving nothing to her husband Simon Monjack.

Just moments after the will went public, Sharon put Brittany’s Hollywood Hills home up for sale. The 8,000 square foot property (where Brittany died), has been listed for $7.25 million. It was purchased by Brittany in 2003 for just $4 million.

Debra Danielson, the mother of Teen Mom star, Farrah Abraham has negotiated a plea deal for a deferred persecution in Iowa court earlier today, meaning if she has no further legal issues, her case will be dropped.

Debra, who is accused of choking her daughter during an argument last month, also pleaded guilty to a lesser charge, and was handed a suspended sentence of 30 days in jail. The prosecution was ordered to give Debra back her two kitchen knives that were taken as evidence in the investigation as part of their end of the plea deal.

As expected, Michael Lohan has released a public statement responding to his daughter Lindsay’s recent interview with The Sun.

In the interview, Lindsay pretty much blamed her dad for all of her drug problems, insisting that she did cocaine after watching him do it, and saying that she hit “rock bottom” after he went public with her problems in 2007. Michael responded to Lindsay’s claims with the following statement:

In response to Lindsay’s interview with the Sun: While I’m very happy that Lindsay is beginning to come “clean,” the truth of the matter is I went public when she hit rock bottom. SHE DID NOT GO ROCK BOTTOM WHEN I WENT PUBLIC. Through my own experience, I did , and will continue to do, everything in my power to keep her away from the negative people, place and things in her life. And while, I find her admissions of her experiences with alcohol and cocaine, to be noble, the REAL PROBLEM still exist with the prescription drug use that the so-called “addiction specialist”, therapist and doctors who are prescribing medication to Lindsay and other people.

The whole problem started, with my divorce from Dina. Lindsay and my other children were torn apart because they lost the stability of a family, only to have me extracated by Dina and her family from my children’s lives while I was “away.”

The problem for Lindsay and so many others is prescription drug use. It has taken lives, destroyed families and it will continue to do so until the government steps in and begins to put harsher restrictions on the writing of prescriptions
. “Which has become an incentivized billion dollar industry.”

As I may not be able to change the world by going public on certain issues, maybe what I have to say might touch or even save a few lives including Lindsay’s. I will not stop doing so until I finally get my daughter off of all the prescription drugs which she never needed and doesn’t need no matter how much I get bad mouthed or slandered by the people out there who aren’t so perfect themselves.

I am a man and a father. I am not perfect, but I damn well mean what I say and speak the TRUTH! Whether it be my very own family, or others I love, I will do ALL I can, to make things right, even if it costs me, or is at my own expense!

Joe Simpson reportedly called John Mayer on the phone over the weekend, to yell at him for calling his daughter Jessica “sexual napalm” in his recent Playboy interview.

The conversation was pretty one-sided. Joe told John that he best not even think of uttering Jessica’s name again. Joe told John to stay away from his family and man-up and apologize for his comments.

John supposedly sent Jessica an email after the friendly phone conversation with dad, apologizing for talking about her in his interview.

Tiger Woods’ mother Kultida faced reporters after her son’s apology speech this morning, and insisted that she was “so proud to be his mother. Period”.

She added,

As a human being everyone has faults, makes mistakes and sins. We all do. But, we move on when we make a mistake and learn from it. He didn’t kill anybody. He didn’t do anything illegal … People don’t understand that Tiger has a very good heart and soul.

If anyone tells me to condemn him, I say look at yourself first.

US Magazine spilled a new fun tidbit about Bachelor contestant Vienna Girardi today. Actually, this one has more to do with her mom.

According to a source, Vienna’s mom is a former topless dancer who retired when her looks started to go. She now makes ends meet by selling peanuts on a central Florida highway.

Vienna, a self-described daddy’s girl, apparently didn’t talk much about her mom on the show because she was embarrassed by her past.

Nancy Kerrigan released a statement to her loved ones yesterday regarding last month’s death of her father Daniel. Her statement read:

Dear Friends,

The last several weeks have been the most difficult of my life. As many of you who ever met my dad know, he was someone who took an interest in everyone that he came in contact with and, if he knew you much at all, had an endearing wisecrack that would be sure to make you laugh. For me, he was my safety net. He was always there for me no matter what turn the world might take. He was a friend to [my husband] Jerry [Solomon] and a doting grandpa to our kids.

For my mother, he was much more than that. He was her eyes, her confidante, her dance partner, her life partner. In short, he was her everything.

For my brothers, he was the ultimate role model: the guy they continue to try to emulate. And his impact spread far beyond our family. Over 2,000 people lined up in 20 degree weather and stood for over 3 hours to pay their last respects. From the pizza delivery guy to the bank teller to millionaire business people to congressmen, he was a friend to everyone and had a special place in each one’s life. The stories we heard about my dad, from childhood friends to recent acquaintances were funny and touching. Most of all, they make us proud.

We will miss my dad every day. Whether it is hearing him tell the kids one of his silly stories or watching him roll his eyes as he goes to the market for the fourth time that afternoon or having a beer with him at the end of the day. Mainly, we will miss just knowing he is there…

The Laird Norton Tyee Trust Company, co-trustee of Frances Bean Cobain’s trust fund filed documents in court yesterday, seeking permission to go through her mother Courtney Love’s financial documents. Apparently, they had reason to believe that Courtney had been spending some of Frances’ trust fund money.

Courtney was originally allowed to control some of the money in the trust, but the right was taken away from her in December when she lost custody of her daughter.

Frances Bean Cobain’s restraining order against her mother, Courtney Love was extended by a judge yesterday. The order will now ban Courtney from contacting her daughter until April 9th.

Frances, who turns 18 in August, is currently living with her paternal grandmother, Wendy O’Connor and aunt Kimberly Dawn Cobain.

Shoe company, Lovemyshoes.com reportedly scrapped Dina Lohan’s not-yet-released shoe line, “Shoe-Han” yesterday.

The company released a statement, blaming the economy for their decision, but Dina’s rep claimed that a “miscommunication over finances” led ultimately to her departure. According to the rep, Dina is now looking for a larger partner with more money to put into her project.

Michael Lohan was in a Nassau County, NY court today to face the judge over 7 months of child support payments which he admitted that he failed to pay.

On last count (back in November), Michael was $15,100 behind. Today, he promised the judge that he would pay his ex-wife Dina back all of the money by his next court date of March 24.

Jon Gosselin has just reportedly made TLC a deal where he’ll allow the network permission to film his children again if they agree to drop their breach of contract lawsuit against him.

TLC has not yet indicated whether or not they plan to accept the deal, but sources close to the situation say that the network isn’t interested in ever working with Jon again.

Looks like Joe Jackson will have to wait a while to find out whether or not he’ll be getting any money from his son Michael’s estate. Yesterday, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge set the preliminary hearing date for the case to May 26.

Joe is asking for a monthly allowance of over $15,000 to cover the cost of his expenses. John Branca and John McClain, executors of the estate are challenging the request.

Brooke Mueller’s lawyer denied the report that his client was in rehab earlier today, but it looks like Brooke’s stepdad didn’t get the memo. Jon Fiore, who is married to Brooke’s mother told reporters today,

She is there. But it’s a recovery place, and it is in a resort setting and the picture I’d like to paint more is that she’s seeking help she wants to, she dealing with this. This is a lot to deal with and I commend her for finally, you know, she couldn’t go back to the house, what is she going to do? With all the problems and the stress?

She’s getting help and her mother is with her. I commend her for that. The positiveness of this is that she is recognizing that she needs help and she can’t do it on her own.

The main thing is it is all about the kids. It really is. These kids are gorgeous, I miss them dearly. I was with them for a month straight and they’re just incredible kids.

They’re young enough and hopefully this will all be behind them. The kids are still in California with Charlie and the nanny.

Angelina Jolie and her brother James Haven released a video yesterday, paying tribute to their mother Marcheline Bertrand who passed away three years ago today.

The video was recorded during a trip that the three took to Hawaii in 1981.
