Some of Lindsay Lohan’s dear friends reportedly tried to pin the girl down for an intervention at a party hosted by Stavros Niarchos over the weekend.

Apparently they failed miserably because they were unable to corner Lindsay for the talk. A friend told reporters,

She kept moving from room to room. … She was clearly hyped-up on more than just booze. It was impossible to corner her, until a few people tried to — in a bathroom when it was nearly dawn…

The only problem was, she saw David Trent [a close friend of her despised father] and immediately bolted.

Samantha Ronson and Courtney Semel both also reportedly attempted to give Lindsay the talk in recent days. So far, no one has been successful.

According to some source somewhere, Johnny Depp has offered to help Nicolas Cage out with his current financial mess.

In case you need a refresher, Nic just lost almost a half a dozen mansions around the world after failing to keep up with the mortgage payments. He’s also been forced to sell off some of his prized possessions - like dinosaur skulls and shrunken head collections.

Back in the 80’s, Nicolas helped Johnny land his first big role in A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Johnny reportedly wants to pay him back for his good deed.

Britney Spears’ parents are reportedly worried because Lindsay Lohan has been begging their daughter to hang out with her again. The former friends were spotted at a club together recently, and it looks like Lindsay wants more where that came from.

Sources say that Brit’s family members are afraid that Lindsay might drag her back into the world of popping pills and shaving heads for attention. The pair have already both dyed their hair blonde.

No word yet the Spears family plan to keep the duo separate.

Britney Spears took her first step towards another mental breakdown on Sunday night when she went out clubbing with Lindsay Lohan.

The former close friends were spotted dancing and talking with one another at the Grand Star Jazz Club in L.A.

Hopefully daddy Spears put Brit back in her cage after the night was over.

According to sources, Holly has been getting extra cozy (in a supposedly friendly way) with American Idol finalist, Sanjaya Malakar. One person close to the production says,

They’ve been spending a lot of time together. She’s even admitted to having a little crush on him!

The source adds that the pair have even been referring to themselves as “Sanjolly”.
