Kevin Smith, who was kicked off of a Southwest Airlines flight over the weekend for being too fat has vowed to never fly with the airline ever again.
According to Kevin, he had no problem fitting into his seat and buckling his seat belt, but was nevertheless kicked off the flight. He suspected that the Southwest employee that did the kicking off simply didn’t like his films.
Southwest announced today that they had called Kevin twice to apologize.
Matthew McConaughey announced on his website yesterday that his girlfriend Camila Alves had given birth to a new baby girl named Vida earlier that morning. Matthew wrote,
Camila gave birth to a healthy 7lb. 7oz. baby girl named ‘Vida Alves McConaughey” . . . ‘Vida’ is Portuguese for ‘life’ and that’s what God gave us this morning. . . Camila’s recovering wonderfully and we are both truly honored to welcome this little lady into our family. . . thanks for all your well wishes and prayers along the way.
This is Matthew and Camila’s second baby together. They announced the pregnancy last June, less than a year after welcoming their first son, Levi.
David Hasselhoff was released from the hospital late last night after suffering from a post-Thanksgiving drunken seizure at his L.A. home.
His attorney, Mel Goldsman released a statement today confirming the news, saying that the actor is now back at home and doing fine. This weekend’s incident was David’s third alcohol-related hospitalization this year.
Tiffani Thiessen (AKA Kelly Kapowski), and her actor/artist husband Brady Smith confirmed today that they are expecting a baby in May.

Jude Law has put off meeting his new little accident, Sophia for another three months, according to several sources. Friends say that he’s interested in eventually visiting her, but that his current work in New York is keeping him away from the baby who is currently living in Florida with her mom Samantha Burke.
To soften the blow, Jude will be paying Samantha about $8,000 per month for the next 18 years to cover the baby’s living expenses.
Amy Winehouse went back to school recently, but not for no edumacation. She made an appearance at North London’s Southgate middle school yesterday to spit on a kid who was picking on her 13-year-old goddaughter Dionne Bromfield.
Sources say that Amy was spotted showing up at the school, pulling the girl out of a crowd, and spitting on her and insulting her in front of all of her friends. Somebody eventually broke up the fight, and Amy signed a few autographs before going home.
The bully kid should probably get tested for rabies.
David Hasselhoff’s 17-year-old daughter Hayley sent her dad to the hospital for the second time in a year after he collapsed from alcohol poisoning at his California home yesterday.
Hayley reportedly first called her mom Pamela to tell her that her dad was incredibly drunk. Pamela instructed one of her friends to call 911. Paramedics showed up around 3:30 and shipped David off to the hospital. He was treated and released later that night.
David’s last hospital stay back in May occurred in much the same way, involving Hayley and her mom who both thought he was going to die.
The latest celebrity dog story this week involves Barbra Streisand and her very good friend’s cute four-legged creature, Dina. Apparently Barbra pissed off her fans after she held a cutest dog contest, and chose her friend Marilyn Smart’s pooch as the winner.
Marilyn, who is also the breeder of Barbra’s dog Sammie, bragged about her win on her website the other day, saying that she “was awarded round-trip airfare for two, hotel accommodations, and two tickets to attend Barbra Streisand’s concert” because Dina was totally the cutest dog ever.
After the NY Post broke news of the canine scam, Barbra’s publicist released a statement denying that Barbra herself had anything to do with the process of selecting the winner. Just to shut everyone up though, he added that whoever did pick the cutest dog would be taking those tickets away from Marilyn, and giving them to the owner of the second cutest dog.
Brad Pitt, who enjoys adopting things and putting them up in large expensive houses, has reportedly dropped $82,000 on a custom architectural wonder for his kids’ gerbils.
The lucky critters were chosen recently by his sons Maddox and Pax from a local pet store in the South of France. They will now live out their days in gerbily paradise in a new home which features tunnels, seesaws, and lots of high platforms for climbing and playing.

Amy Winehouse’s family’s plan to keep Blake Fielder-Civil away by hiring a couple of security guards apparently failed miserably the other day. Rumor has it that Amy was able to sneak Blake into her house through her back window after a secret date night of dinner and drinks.
According to a source, the alcoholic+druggie couple met up on Friday night, had a romantic dinner and a few cocktails together, and then tip toed back to Amy’s pad, where two security guards were stationed at her front door. Amy successfully got Blake through the back window for a little “private time” with him. This was supposedly their first date in over a year.
Barrington RI cops were called to Shanna Moakler’s family’s home yesterday after Travis Barker, who showed up to drop their kids Landon and Alabama off, spotted the car of some child molester named Rick Sinnott (pictured below) parked at the house. Rick is supposedly Shanna’s uncle, although Shanna has denied being related to Rick.
Cops supposedly asked Rick to leave, and Travis went on his way to NYC.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were spotted taking their kids Maddox and Pax to a local pet store in the South of France yesterday.
The family walked out of the store called Jardinerie du Centre Var with a few gerbils, goldfishes, and one cactus for Maddox.
