One Tree Hill’s Antwon Tanner was sentenced today to three months in prison for selling social security numbers for $10,000 to an undercover detective during a sting operation.
Antwon pleaded in a Brooklyn court that he was only a middleman in the operation, but a judge sentenced him to prison anyway. He’ll also be required to serve five months under house arrest after his release. His sentence will begin on April 30.
Antwon Tanner, that dude who plays Skills on One Tree Hill, probably should have done a little more thinking before he chose his side job. He pleaded guilty in a Brooklyn court today to illegally selling Social Security numbers for $10,000.
Antwon was charged back in April after he was caught in a sting where he sold 16 social security numbers and 3 fake IDs to undercover Immigration officers.
The actor told the judge that he was a middleman, and knew that the operation was illegal. Antwon will be sentenced on November 20th where he faces up to 10 years in prison.
