According to court documents Arnold Schwarzenegger has settled the $79,064 tax lien filed against him by the IRS.
When the lien was filed last year, Arnold’s rep insisted that the issue was a misunderstanding, and that Arnold was unaware that he owed the government any money.
It is unclear whether Arnold paid the lien, or it if had been dismissed.
TMZ is reporting that back in May, the IRS filed a tax lien in L.A. County Superior Court, demanding that the Governator, Arnold Schwarzenegger pay up $79,064 that he owed them from the 2004 and 2005 tax years.
According to the L.A. County Recorder’s Office, Arnold has yet to pay up, and the tax lien is still active.
