Jessica Simpson took a trip to Whoville, where she demonstrated her talent for eating hair on her Twitter yesterday, by taking in a mouthful of her sister Ashlee’s greasy locks.

Now that Ashlee Simpson is officially fired from the Melrose Place cast, her sister Jessica is coming out to tell us all her true opinion of the CW show’s storyline. Jessica Tweeted yesterday,

The show’s producers had previously claimed that Ashlee’s departure was planned from the start of the series, but according to several sources, she was actually written out of the script after the network realized that her acting abilities were non existent.
Sources say though, that Ashlee isn’t quite giving up on the acting yet. She’s currently reviewing scripts, and trying to find a new job in TV.
Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Colin Egglesfield will both be dropped from the Melrose Place cast, according to the show’s executive producers Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer. The announcement made yesterday, was supposedly part of the planned “Who Killed Sydney?” storyline. Todd told Entertainment Weekly,
We always knew that this murder mystery would end in episode 12. And we always knew that [Ashlee's] character of Violet would be instrumental in that as a suspect, and [Colin's character of] Augie as well. And once that murder mystery was solved, she would go on her way. That was the original plan going into the development of the show.
Todd denied that the show’s low ratings had anything to do with the cast changes.
Both Ashlee and Colin will make their final appearances in January. After their departures, new characters will be introduced, and the show will supposedly take on a lighter feel.
Ashlee Simpson took to the latest issue of Redbook Magazine, to talk about pregnancy, her baby Bronx, and her really unfortunate sister Jessica. Here are just a few quotes from the article:
On being pregnant: “The great thing about being pregnant is that you have nine months and it really does prepare you. Your body is changing, and it’s such an amazing time to feel that connection.”
On how Jessica totally envies her: “[Jessica's] always saying, ‘Oh, I want a baby!’

Star Magazine is reporting that Ashlee Simpson is pregnant with baby #2. Since the source is Star, we’re setting the chances of this being true at about 37%.
According to the mag, Ashlee is psyched about the new baby because it’ll totally tie Pete Wentz down to her for life. Pete is reportedly pissed for the same reasons. A source says,
He thinks a second kid could change things for the worse. He doesn’t want to be tied down and stuck at home all the time.
Pete Wentz was spotted earlier this week, dancing on a pool table with a few strippers at a party after his show at the Palms Casino Resort. A source at the party tells Star Magazine,
Everybody was going absolutely crazy. [Pete was] dancing on a pool table with the girls.
People were even drunkenly playing makeshift Slip ‘n’ Slide with a mat and lubricant. And Pete was in great spirits. He was dancing and singing along to his band’s own songs, grinding up against the dancers.
Pete’s wife Ashlee Simpson was seemingly cool with the whole thing, posting a picture of her giving their baby Bronx a kiss on her Twitter around the same time.
