Billy Ray Cyrus took to Access Hollywood yesterday to defend his daughter Miley’s little Teen Choice ice cream cart pole dance (above). According to Billy, it’s all about artistic freedom. Billy said,
You know what? I just think that Miley loves entertaining people. She loves singing [and] songwriting. I always tell her to love what you’re doing and stay focused for the love of the art and not worry so much about opinion.
I give my kids a lot of freedom to make the art they wanna make, and make it in their own voice.

Rumor has it that Miley Cyrus has found a man even older than Justin Gaston to hook up with. The Hannah Montana star, who broke up with her 20-year-old boyfriend Justin earlier this week, has reportedly been plotting to hook up with 22-year-old Steve Rushton, some dude with a really bad 80’s haircut that played guitar in Miley’s Hannah Montana movie band.
Apparently, Steve is from the UK, but he just recently moved to the US after signing a record deal with Disney with his band Son of Dork. According to a source,
They have been spending hours instant messaging each other. She is still young but she is smitten with him. They are very much in love.
The source adds that Justin is jealous of Steve because of Steve’s close relationship with Miley’s dad Billy Ray (maybe because Steve’s actually dating dad?)

Miley Cyrus was recently photographed humping a horse with her daddy helping out by holding the reins. Some random cowboy was seen doing something (we cannot confirm what) behind the horse while looking up Miley’s dress.

No, she didn’t want a Mercedes, she wanted a recording studio. She just wanted a place to record there at the house. She’s been writing a lot of songs, a lot of really great material.
Billy Ray Cyrus had so much fun pimping out his kid, Miley, that he’s moving on to giving some helpful advice to the Obamas about whether or not to get their kids Malia and Sasha into acting.
Billy Ray and Miley originally offered the girls parts in an upcoming Hannah Montana episode, but the Obamas have declined the invitation. Billy Ray’s responds with a deep southern drawl,
As a daddy, I’ll say to him what I say to any daddy, you may not want your daughter to get into show business, but if the girls want to be on the show, and him and his wife think it’s a good idea, I always say, everything in life, what’s meant to be will happen.
If not, it’s probably a good thing also because these girls are going to be in a unique spotlight, and they really do need to walk with certainty and care. I can see many reasons why it would be fun for them to do the show, but I also see a couple other reasons… I don’t know.

Miley Cyrus has reportedly been paid seven figures to write an autobiography on her life. She says,
I’m not sure when it’s going to come out. It’s finished but you’ve got a long process of editing and all that kind of stuff, so it takes a while.
The book will supposedly focus on her family life, and show how her relationships with her mom Leticia and famous dad Billy Ray Cyrus helped her through her career.
Billy Ray Cyrus has given 15-year-old Miley’s new 20-year-old underwear model BF Justin Gaston the nod. Justin was a former contestant on Billy Ray’s show, Nashville Star. He tells Access Hollywood,

TMZ is reporting that Miley Cyrus and her dad Billy Ray are trying to get Miley fired from Hannah Montana so that she can concentrate on her singing career, which Billy Ray seems to think will make her more money. LOL.
Billy Ray is supposedly helping Miley out by showing up late to call times with her, purposely slowing down production, and generally pissing everyone off. He has reportedly told Disney that they will only do 12 more episodes of the show, but Disney, apparently upset over the duo’s antics, is insisting that they finish out the 24 episode season, and also do six more shows on top of that. I think Miley should melt her promise ring in public and join a cult to get back at them.
Update: Miley is denying that this is the case. She says, “I am fully committed to Hannah Montana. It’s what gave me this amazing opportunity to reach out to so many people.”
We still think she should do the purity ring melt.
