Britney Spears’ court date to discuss the future of her conservatorship has been delayed until an unspecified future date.
Britney and her father were originally set to appear before Judge Reva Goetz at 1:30 today to discuss her progress, but sources say that both sides have asked for more time before sitting down to a meeting. As previously reported, all parties are in favor of dissolving the conservatorship around the middle of this year.
Yesterday, Kohl’s released their new Britney Spears Candie’s ad campaign, shot by Annie Leibovitz, Terry Richardson, and Mark Seliger.
Britney is the brand’s first recycled spokesmodel. Kohl’s normally chooses to work with a new celebrity for their ads each year, but they decided to keep Britney on for year two when sales for the brand increased dramatically after Britney was hired on to represent them.
These new ads will appear in the April issue of Seventeen Magazine, in Teen Vogue, and online in ad campaigns which will run on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.
Britney Spears’ rep has just released a statement saying that there was nothing wrong with Britney when she was spotted heading to a hospital in L.A. earlier today. The rep said,
Everything is fine. Britney is there for an annual physical.
Interestingly, Britney was escorted to the children’s hospital by a 3-car caravan and police escort for her “annual physical”.
Britney Spears was reportedly spotted being rushed to the emergency room at UCLA Medical Center by her bodyguard and a police escort just moments ago.
She was seen walking over to the children’s wing of the hospital, but her children were not with her when she arrived. The hospital refused to comment on whether or not they were being treated inside.
A judge has just extended Jamie Spears’ conservatorship over his daughter Britney for an unspecified amount of time.
The conservatorship was originally set to end this month, but now, it’s expected to last for another six months to a year. During this time, Jamie will continue to collect $16,000 per month for his work.
Another hearing for the case has been scheduled for January 14th.

One of Britney Spears’ tour buses carrying equipment for her show was involved in an accident on its way to Melbourne, Australia yesterday.
Britney was not on the bus, and the driver was the only one injured. He was taken to the hospital after the accident, but no information was given on his condition. All of the equipment on the bus was undamaged, so Britney was able to perform her show at the Rod Laver Arena last night as scheduled.
The police are naming windy conditions as the reason for the crash.

The Australian government is angry about the fact that Britney Spears moves her lips and wobbles around in skanky outfits during her concerts, but never really sings.
The Minister for Fair Trading for New South Wales, Virginia Judge has proposed that disclaimers be printed on promo materials and tickets for Britney’s upcoming concerts down under, letting fans know that the shows will be pre-recorded. Virginia told reporters,
It is Britney’s ‘prerogative’ to lip-sync, and it is my job to make sure consumers know what they are paying for up front.
It looks like the lip-syncing isn’t turning off too many fans though, the concerts in Australia have already started to sell out, with some fans paying more than $1,300 for tickets.
Britney Spears has finally settled the lawsuit brought against her by a photographer who accused her of running over his foot in 2007.
TMZ photog, Ricardo Mendoza sued Britney earlier this year for assault, battery, and negligent driving. He then sold his tire-stained sock in an auction, and donated the proceeds to charity.
The suit was settled in L.A. on Monday. No details were given on the amount of the settlement.
A Los Angeles judge has just granted Britney Spears an extension to her temporary 50/50 custody agreement with K-Fed, allowing her to spend more time with her kids until at least the end of this year.
The agreement was originally made when Britney started her recent tour. She’ll continue to pay K-Fed between $20,000 to $25,000 per month in child support.
The order will be reevaluated at the end of the year.

Miranda Tozier-Robbins, the woman who was arrested in April for sneaking around Britney Spears’ house wearing camo and carrying a video camera, was sentenced to three years probation and 240 hours of community service in a Los Angeles court today.
The judge also ordered Miranda to stay away from Britney.
Miranda told Slashgossip in April that the incident was orchestrated as a publicity stunt for a documentary that she planned to enter into next year’s Sundance Film Festival. She said at the time, “I never expected it to turn into this”.
