Brooke Shields recently took a trip to Denmark to fulfill her “little girl’s dream” of designing her very own mink coat. Well now, of course, PETA has chimed in with their own two cents on Brooke’s little childhood dream. They released a message on their website yesterday, saying,

When I was a little girl, I dreamed about growing up to be a rock star. Or maybe a veterinarian. Or a roller derby queen. I didn’t dream about anally electrocuting animals on fur farms, but apparently Brooke Shields did…We understand that when some actors’ careers begin to fade, they’ll do just about anything to stay in the limelight, including appearing in eyelash-growing commercials and starring in short-lived TV shows. But Brooke, did you really want the world to remember you as a ‘fur pimp’ who stares agog at rows of animal skins?

Apparently, Brooke’s comments to the press after getting her coat made were what really set PETA off. Some of those comments include, “I will advocate that both my generation and the younger generation can wear fur” and “I will wear the fur garment when I follow my children to school, when I drink coffee and when I sleep.”

Brooke Shields has joined the ranks of celebrities who owe money to the IRS. A federal tax lien was filed on December 31, 2009 against the actress for a little over $10,000 in unpaid taxes from 2004 and 2005.

The lien was filed on the same day that Nicolas Cage was hit with a $6.7 million bill.

Brooke Shields and Jim Belushi are reportedly doing fine after being involved in a minor plane crash on a private landing strip at Hearst Castle on Friday.

The pilot of the Cessna prop plane reportedly forgot to set the parking brake after landing the plane. The aircraft rolled into a 2010 Buick SUV as Brooke and Jim were exiting the plane. No one was injured in the accident.

A writer with the National Enquirer got a little too creative with acquiring a good source last week when he decided to steal Brooke Shields’ mom from a nursing home for a little private talk time.

Brooke claims that her 75-year-old mother Teri, who suffers from dementia, was kidnapped from a nursing home by a National Enquirer reporter and an accompanying photographer last Thursday.  The Enquirer employees allegedly pretended to be friends with Teri, convincing nursing home workers to allow them to sign her out for a quick lunch.  The reporters then loaded Teri up into their car and drove her around New Jersey, trying to get her to leak a good tabloid story.

The police were called in to find Teri, who was finally located in a nearby restaurant eating lunch with the writer.  No arrests were made at the scene, but Brooke has released a statement confirming that she will be pressing charges in the near future.

The writer is insisting that he and Teri have been friends for over 10 years, and that Teri was the one who asked him to take her out for lunch.  Police are currently conducting an investigation.

After all the back and forth this past week about what really happened the night of Kiefer Sutherland’s head-butting incident, Kiefer has finally sent his rep out to release an official statement. The slightly vague statement of denial reads:

We are troubled by the untruthful and self-serving information circulating regarding Kiefer Sutherland and events of last Monday evening. We are confident, however, that the investigation being conducted by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and the NYPD will confirm that Kiefer Sutherland was neither the instigator nor a wrongdoer in this incident. Out of respect for this law enforcement process, Kiefer Sutherland will not be making any comment.

Brooke Shields has now also come out with a statement in defense of Kiefer, acknowledging that “Kiefer has always been a gentleman in her company”.  Neither Brooke nor Kiefer have yet elaborated on any real details of the incident.

Kiefer Sutherland was charged with assault yesterday for headbutting Jack McCullough in defense of Brooke Shields, who he claims Jack pushed over.  At first, Brooke’s rep denied the actress’ involvement in the incident, but now, Brooke is telling friends that she was indeed knocked over.  Instead of blaming Jack though, Brooke is implicating her 6-inch heels.

Brooke has reportedly told friends that the incident started off as “no big deal.”  She claims that Jack did accidentally bump into her, but that her heels were more responsible for her fall than Jack.  She also places some of the blame on the dark and crowded room.

Apparently, in her eyes, Kiefer blew the incident way out of proportion by headbutting Jack after Jack refused to apologize for the accidental contact.  Kiefer was charged with misdemeanor assault yesterday in NYC.

Kiefer Sutherland showed up at the 1st Precinct in NYC around 4PM today to turn himself in for headbutting designer Jack McCollough over some fight that may have had something to do with Brooke Shields earlier this week.

The actor better known as 24’s Jack Bauer, is currently in the PD’s office getting a desk appearance ticket.  He will not be arrested at this time for the incident.

TMZ is reporting that Kiefer Sutherland, who headbutted designer Jack McCollough at a party the other night, will be charged with misdemeanor assault when he shows at the NYPD for a desk appearance ticket.

The LA City Attorney’s office is still trying to decide whether or not to revoke Kiefer’s current probation for DUI.

Jack, who broke his nose in the assault, is claiming that the attack was unprovoked. Other sources claim that Jack started the fight after he refused to apologize for shoving Brooke Shields. Brooke’s party is denying her involvement in the incident.

Last night, Brooke Shields’ rep released a statement denying that Brooke was involved in the Kiefer Sutherland headbutting incident, which left designer Jack McCullough with a broken nose. Now however, some big mouthed cops are coming out with a different story. One cop tells TMZ, “Brooke was definitely involved.”

The source did not elaborate on the extent of Brooke’s involvement, but did say that both Brooke and Kiefer are being called in for interviews soon to give law enforcement a clearer picture of what went on that night.

Apparently Kiefer Sutherland doesn’t just play a badass on TV.  The man better known as Jack Bauer supposedly broke designer Jack McCollough’s nose when he headbutted him after the Met red carpet last night.  The fight reportedly had something to do with Brooke Shields.

Mary-Kate Olsen and Kirsten Dunst were both present to witness the event, and Jack was promptly taken to the hospital, where he is currently still recovering.

Update: Multiple sources who were present at the event in NYC yesterday are reporting that the incident began when Kiefer witnessed Jack knocking Brooke over at the Met Costume Gala.  When Kiefer asked him to apologize, Jack refused.  This allegedly prompted Kiefer to headbutt Jack, breaking his nose.

Kiefer, who is currently on probation for a DUI in LA is now looking at a possible probation violation for this incident.  No word yet on whether or not charges will be brought against him.

Update #2: Brooke’s rep has just released a statement denying the entire story.  The statement reads:

Nothing happened to her. Jack did nothing inappropriate. It’s not clear what caused Kiefer to do what he did.

Brooke will be giving an official statement to cops tomorrow.
