Dakota Fanning donned some big hair for the latest issue of V Magazine to talk about finally growing into a size zero, kissing Kristen Stewart, and snorting crushed B vitamins for her new film The Runaways.
Dakota Fanning appears in the current issue of Teen Vogue, where she talks about her new movies New Moon, and The Runaways. She also opens up about growing up, going to a normal school, and dating a regular boring high school boy.
Dakota Fanning is one step closer to her dream of morphing into a normal human teenager. According to Radar Online, she was just voted homecoming princess at Campbell Hall Episcopal School - that L.A. private school that she attends whenever she’s not busy doing that acting thing that she does.
Dakota was given the honor during a game on Friday night, where she also showed off her cheerleading skills.
She’ll be back to her regularly scheduled programming later this week for her 15-city New Moon Promo Tour.

We’re just guessing that one of her real high school “friends” leaked these typical high school bad blurry photos to the nets.

Dakota Fanning has reportedly been offered the role of Jane in the Twilight sequel New Moon. E! Online is reporting that Dakota was given the part without an audition, and that an online petition had been making its way around the nets for some time, asking the studio Summit Entertainment to cast her for the role.
Dakota has already proven herself as a huge sex symbol after her role in the indie film, Hounddog.
Mariah Carey, who has not realized that no one wants to see her act, has landed a new role playing a social worker in a film called Push, which will also star Dakota Fanning.
Mariah says,
The role’s a supporting part - a little scene - but it’s a very important scene. I don’t want to reveal what happens, but my character is important because things are revealed through her.
Hopefully she doesn’t talk in this… or sing.
Defamer has posted a clip of Dakota Fanning’s appearance on Oprah yesterday, where the former awkwardly bubbly pseudo-adult somehow got taken over by a normal 14-year-old girl.
Dakota was on the show to promote her new movie, The Secret Life of Bees, and to dish about her new life as a high school cheerleader. No, she doesn’t save the world, but it’s worth watching just to see the amazing results of the body switching aliens.
