Hundreds of David Carradine’s friends and family members showed up for his funeral services, which were held at the Hall of Liberty in Forest Lawn Cemetery yesterday. Some notable people present at the event included Tom Selleck, Daryl Hannah, Lucy Liu, and Jane Seymour.

According to reports, some mourners arrived dressed like cowboys and Native Americans, and the casket was escorted to the cemetery by a group of Hell’s Angels on motorcycles. David’s brother Bruce told People Magazine,

It was touching, but light-hearted. There weren’t a lot of tears, but there was a lot of laughter.

A photo montage of the actor played on a projected screen in the background, and two of David’s children performed harp and piano music during the services.

David’s death is still being investigated by authorities.

David Carradine’s favorite sex toy shop in L.A. reportedly has some toys on hold that he ordered about three weeks ago.

The owner of Susie’s Delights tells reporters that David, who would shop there almost weekly, placed an order for women’s lingerie, three bondage DVDs, and some bondage equipment a few weeks before his death.  Part of his order was unavailable, and placed on back order.  Those items recently showed up at the store, but unfortunately, the actor could not make it in to pick them up.

Apparently, David special-ordered most of his new toys because he already owned almost every bondage-related item that the store regularly carried.

David Carradine’s ex-wife Gail Jensen, who’s probably cashing in big time on the death of her beloved former husband, gave a few examples of David’s kinky sex games to reporters yesterday.

Gail spilled that one day, she came home to find post-it notes with little arrows drawn in them, leading all the way down to the couple’s basement. She claimed that she followed the notes all the way to David who was hanging from a rope with his body spread out like Jesus Christ.

David then told Gail, “I really would like a sandwich”. Gail brought her dear husband said sandwich and some wine, and then returned upstairs to host a party for some of their friends. According to Gail, David hung out in the basement like Jesus with his sandwich for a few hours, before finishing up and joining the party.

Gail also told reporters that David enjoyed riding horses in Speedos, and near-drowning himself in swimming pools.  She was married to David for 9 years, and described him as “a wonderful man except for those serious times.”

The small amounts of info that David Carradine’s family members were able to get from Thai authorities about David’s murder have led them to believe that the actor could have been assassinated by a secret Kung Fu society that may have been trying to keep him from exposing their sect.  One entirely serious person interviewed on Larry King Live the other day said,

David was very interested in investigating and disclosing secret societies.

David’s lawyer Mark Geragos added,

Absolutely. What that means is connected to his interest in martial arts.  And so there is a suspicion that if there was some foul play, that may be the first area they should look.

Thai authorities have insisted that the actor’s death was most likely the result of an accident during auto erotic asphyxiation.  David’s ex-wife Marina Anderson’s divorce papers also showed evidence that the actor was into dangerous sex play.  “Deviant sexual behavior which was potentially deadly” was cited as one of the reasons for the break-down of their marriage.  Another one of David’s ex-wives Gail Jensen also admitted to having knowledge of David’s sex habits, telling reporters over the weekend,

David was pretty strange. He would like to get tied up. He would tie himself up and I would walk in and see him and say ‘Oh my God, David, you got to be kidding me’ — and I would (turn around and) walk out. I would leave him to his own devices.

He liked to be tied up. And he could tie himself up … He spent days planning a different feature. He would go to a hardware store and buy the stuff.

Thai authorities have just granted the FBI permission to observe the case, but they have not allowed the Bureau to conduct their own investigation.  A second autopsy on David’s body is expected to be performed in the U.S. later this week.

David Carradine’s family is reportedly outraged after a photo of David’s naked hung body was published on the front page of Thailand’s best-selling newspaper, Thai Rath.

The photo is believed to have been taken by the forensics team that conducted the investigation into the actor’s death.  It shows David in the hotel room, hanging in the closet with his hands tied above his head.  David’s family has released the following statement:

The family wants it understood that, per attorney Mark Geragos, any persons, publications or media outlets will be fully prosecuted for invasion of privacy and causing severe emotional distress if the photos are published.

Thai Rath made no indication of how they got a hold of the photo.

The autopsy results for David Carradine’s death came in early this morning from a hospital in Bangkok. 

According to an anonymous hospital staff member present at the autopsy, David’s official cause of death was listed as suffocation. No cuts, bruises, or other injuries were found on David’s body. This new finding will most likely rule out foul play.

David’s family members, who still do not believe that the actor committed suicide, have reportedly asked the FBI to step in to conduct their own investigation on his death. As of now, the FBI have not contacted Thai authorities.

Thai police officers came forward yesterday to report that 72-year-old David Carradine’s death was unlikely to be a suicide because even though he was found hanged in his luxury hotel room, he was also nude with a yellow nylon curtain cord tied around his neck, and a black rope tied around his genitals.

David’s manager Chuck Binder also reported that though there didn’t appear to be any forced entry into the hotel room, he was told by investigators that foul play was suspected to be involved.  An autopsy is currently being performed.

Coincidentally or not, it is also being reported that the Nai Lert Park hotel, where Carradine was found, is located right next to the Tuptim fertility shrine, a sort of outdoor museum of penis sculptures.

Carradine appeared to have been dead for at least 12 hours before a maid found his body yesterday morning. He did not leave a suicide note.

Update: Chuck Binder has just revealed that Carradine’s hands were tied up behind his back with rope, leading authorities to now suspect murder.

Update #2: Carradine’s family is now saying that the Nai Lert Park hotel has so far refused to turn over their surveillance videos to authorities. Sources are also hinting that the hotel might be withholding other evidence from investigators as well.

73-year-old Actor David Carradine was found dead in his hotel room at the Park Nai Lert Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand early this morning.  According to the Thai press, Carradine was found hanged in an apparent suicide, but his agent Chuck Binder has released a statement insisting that the Kung Fu and Kill Bill star appeared to have died from natural causes.

Carradine, who was in Thailand shooting his latest film, failed to appear for at a dinner for the cast and crew yesterday, and was later found by a producer who went to his room to check on him.

Carradine is survived by his wife Annie, who he married in 2004, and his four children.

Update: The BBC is reporting that Carradine was found by a maid at the Park Nai Lert hotel, hanging from the wardrobe on a rope early this morning.
