Debbie Rowe’s lawyer filed a claim against Michael Jackson’s estate yesterday, demanding a $177,975 reimbursement for legal fees that she supposedly racked up during the recent custody battle for her children with Michael Jackson.

Michael’s mother Katherine Jackson was ultimately granted custody, but Debbie’s lawyer Eric George insisted yesterday that the estate lawyer Howard Weitzman had promised to reimburse him for Debbie’s legal costs regardless of who got the kids. Howard however, claimed that the deal was never made, saying “I had discussions with Mr. George about his request that the estate pay his fees on behalf of Debbie Rowe, but no agreement was ever reached”.

If Eric does not get the money from Howard, he’ll likely be going after Debbie next.

Debbie Rowe has just won a defamation suit against a woman named Rebecca White, who she sued in July for claiming on Extra that she didn’t care about her kids with Michael Jackson, and that she was just trying to suck money from the Jackson family.

Debbie insisted that she suffered emotional distress after the interview aired. Rebecca chose to ignore the suit, so a default judgment was made today and Debbie was awarded $27,000 in damages.

Debbie Rowe Wins Defamation Case

Debbie Rowe is now off the hook for allegedly defaming and assaulting a photographer named Ed Frommer who allegedly attacked her shortly after Michael Jackson’s death last summer.

Debbie originally tried to sue Ed for the assault, but Ed countersued, claiming that Debbie was defaming him with her accusations. Debbie insisted that she never hit Ed or attempted to defame him, and added that he had trespassed on her property several times last year.

A Lancaster, CA judge ruled in favor of Debbie in court yesterday, clearing her of all allegations against her.

Michael Jackson’s former wife, Debbie Rowe was hit with a small claims lawsuit yesterday from a photographer who accused her of lying to cops about his actions outside of a Chinese restaurant in July.

Debbie told the police that photog Ed Frommer scratched her, grabbed her arm, and hit her in the back. Ed claims that he didn’t scratch Debbie, and that all of the other physical contact was unintentional. He’s asking for $7,500 for his troubles.

Today, Debbie Rowe released her first public statement since Michael Jackson’s funeral, and the topic of conversation was… Jessica Simpson’s dead dog.

Debbie spoke with US Weekly about how back in 2004, her own dog Ruufus was also eaten by a coyote. Debbie said,

I’m very sorry for her loss. Coyotes are smart and hunt very well in L.A. When dogs are small, you can’t leave them out alone - especially at daybreak night time and evening.

[After our dog was killed], we were able to do the ‘country thing’ - we shot the coyote and hung the skin on the fence. The coyotes moved on after a few days.

Debbie has since replaced Ruufus with two dogs - a Belgian Shepherd and a German Shepherd.

The NY Post is reporting that Debbie Rowe’s lawyer fibbed a bit when he claimed that his client would not be accepting money to give Katherine Jackson Michael’s kids. Rumor has it that Debbie would in fact be getting a total of $4 million in payments to sign the deal.

Apparently, Debbie had been getting $1 million per year from Michael in informal spousal support payments, but the Jackson family wanted to stop the checks from going out to her. At that point, Debbie threatened to fight for custody of her kids. She demanded a total of $4 million to drop the custody bid.

The family denied the involvement of money as part of the agreement, but did mention that they would be continuing Debbie’s spousal support payments.

Under the agreement, Debbie would be getting a few hundred thousand dollars per year for a fixed period of time.

Katherine Jackson Gets Michael’s Kids

Katherine Jackson’s lawyer L. Londell McMillan told CBS’ Early Show this morning that Debbie Rowe has agreed not to fight Katherine Jackson for custody of Michael Jackson’s kids. Katherine’s camp is offering Debbie visitation, but no money will be involved.

McMillan also mentioned that Joe Jackson is no longer living with Katherine, so he will most likely have no part in rearing the kids.

As far as the will goes, Katherine will receive 40% of Michael’s estate which is valued at about $2 billion.

Michael Jackson’s ex-wife Debbie Rowe filed a lawsuit yesterday against a woman named Rebecca White who went to tabloids last week, claiming to be her close friend. In court papers, Debbie alleged that Rebecca sold a story to the media, accusing her of giving up her two kids in exchange for $4 million from the Jackson family.

Debbie claimed in her filing that she had never met or had contact with Rebecca, who also sent fabricated emails to tabloids as proof that Debbie was fighting for custody of her kids to save her reputation.

She’s suing Rebecca for defamation, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Everything has a price, and apparently Michael Jackson’s kids are worth a really big one to their biological mom. Debbie Rowe has reportedly just accepted a $4 million payout from Michael’s mother Katherine to give up all parental rights to her two children Prince and Paris.

According to a source, Rowe demanded the money, which the Jackson family viewed as ransom, but they agreed to pay the amount to ensure that Debbie would have no right to ever challenge custody of the children again.

Debbie had already taken $8 million from Michael years ago to give up custody, but her rights were reinstated during Michael’s 2005 child molestation trial.

Update: Debbie’s lawyer has just released a statement, shooting down the rumored settlement deal. According to Eric George, his client is still working on resolving the custody issue. We’re guessing $4 million just wasn’t enough.

The custody hearing for Michael Jackson’s three kids Prince, Paris, and Blanket was pushed back for a second time on Friday to give Michael’s mother Katherine and the kids’ biological mother Debbie Rowe more time to settle on an arrangement out of court.

It looks like Joe Jackson’s failure to keep his damn mouth shut may just well be the reason for the delay. Sources say that Katherine and Debbie have both expressed interest in keeping the kids away from Michael’s fame-loving father Joe, after his recent comments to ABC News about his interest in getting Paris and Blanket started in show biz ASAP. Michael famously accused Joe of forcing him to perform by relentlessly beating him back in the day.

The sources say that Debbie is open to giving Katherine custody of the kids provided that they have no contact with Joe. Katherine is even interested in reintroducing Debbie into the children’s lives, allowing her to have regular visits with Prince, Paris and Blanket.

Joe and Katherine are legally married, but apparently are no longer living together. A new custody hearing has been set for July 20.

Jackson Kids’ Custody Hearing Delayed

michael_jackson_rare_kids_pic_main

Katherine Jackson’s scheduled Monday custody hearing to discuss the permanent placement of her son Michael’s three kids, Prince, Paris and Blanket has been moved to July 13.

According to sources, both Katherine and the supposed biological mother of the two older kids, Debbie Rowe have asked the courts to move the hearing date.

Debbie expressed interest earlier today in fighting for custody of her kids and taking out a restraining order to keep Michael’s father Joe away from them. Katherine and Debbie have likely asked for the delay to discuss the possibility of a settlement. Katherine will care for the children until the new hearing date.

After rumor leaked last week that Michael Jackson was not the real father of any of his three kids, multiple sources have come forward to confirm that the real father of Prince and Paris was Michael’s dermatologist, Arnold Klein.

According to sources, not only was Michael not the dad, his wife at the time, Debbie Rowe was also not the biological mother. Reports say that Debbie was just a paid surrogate, and that the children were conceived in vitro from Arnold’s sperm, and eggs from anonymous donors.

Lawyers say though, that this new revelation may not hurt Debbie’s chances for custody of the children because she was married to Michael at the time of conception, and is still considered the children’s legal mother.  If Debbie brings the case to court, this may be the first battle of its kind in California.

Michael’s third child, Blanket will probably face less of a custodial fight.  He was reportedly carried by an anonymous surrogate, who wasn’t made aware of her client’s identity.

Update: Debbie’s lawyer has just come out with the following statement:

We refuse to be drawn into addressing the various rumors and speculation swirling in the media. The vast majority of what is out there is untrue.

Particularly hurtful and insidious is the most recent rumor — which is entirely false — concerning the maternity of the children. Ms. Rowe is the biological mother of the two oldest children.

Well in that case, no need for a DNA test.
