Doug Reinhardt’s former landlord is suing Doug, MTV, and Viacom for shooting The Hills in his Hollywood home without his permission, and for physically damaging the property during their production.

Doug originally filed a lawsuit against the landlord last year for refusing to return his $21 K security deposit. Now however, the landlord is counter-suing Doug, claiming that he had no idea the MTV reality show crew was shooting in the home. He wants unspecified damages and attorney’s fees for invasion of privacy and damaged property. He’s also suing MTV for trespassing.

Paris Hilton confirmed her engagement to Doug Reinhardt over the weekend, after she referred to Doug’s sister Casey as her “future sister-in-law” at the Hearts for Hope charity event in L.A.

According to sources, Doug’s family really loves Paris - so much so that Casey actually bid $6,000 to at the Hearts for Hope charity event for the opportunity to have a picnic with Paris at her home.

The LAPD were called to Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt’s home early this morning to break up what their neighbors described as “drunk people arguing”.

According to witnesses, Paris threw a fit when Doug went to get into his car to leave. Sources say that Paris began screaming “Don’t go! Don’t go!”. That led to some physical shoving. At some point, Doug agreed to come back into the house. The cops had a short talk with Paris, before leaving the two to sort out their own problems.

Update: Paris is now blaming “Doug’s houseguests from hell” for the cop call. She has no explanation, however, for why her neighbors spotted her screaming at Doug outside of their home this morning.

Paris Hilton recently did her boyfriend Doug Reinhardt a favor by sending some people over to redecorate his house. One of Paris’ close friends told E! Online that Paris hired a crew to bring in life-sized posters of herself to plaster all over his mansion without telling him first.

The heiress also included a couple of photos of the two of them in some “kissy-kissy poses”. Doug’s friends are reportedly very amused.

Apparently Doug Reinhardt’s life is too boring, even for The Hills. The NY Post is reporting that a few Hills cast members were spotted making fun of Doug at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City recently.

Somebody overheard the unnamed reality stars laughing about Doug “begging MTV producers for a contract”. The source said, “Doug keeps calling MTV, but they don’t want him”.

In case you didn’t know, Doug used to be a baseball player. He currently owns a few companies and goes to Pepperdine University where he studies pre-law as a poly-sci major. He’s better-known however, as Paris Hilton’s favorite accessory.

According to reports, Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt got engaged after going on a romantic vacation to Fiji and Bora Bora together. Paris supposedly told a source,

[Doug] dropped down on one knee after dinner. He asked me to marry him, and of course I accepted! It was so romantic. We plan to have the ceremony this Christmas.

Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt got back together last week, and to our surprise, it wasn’t Paris who couldn’t stand being alone. Sources are now saying that Doug was so lonely without his plastic girlfriend that he spent the past month in solitude, doing nothing other than working out, sending Paris gifts, and begging her to come back. One of Doug’s friends ratted him out by saying,

Doug has done everything possible to win Paris back. He is madly in love with her, and he can’t stand the thought of losing her. Even when she was in Dubai for a month, he proved his love to her by staying low key and not going out at all. Instead, he stayed at his parents home in Laguna Beach working out every single day. Sources close to Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt are now saying that the couple have definitely reconciled.

Doug spent his past few days twittering about his “beautiful girlfriend”. We’re guessing he was talking about P-head. The pair had originally called it quits last month after four months of dating.

According to many reports, Paris Hilton broke up with Doug Reinhardt solely because she caught him flirting with an ex-girlfriend, but the Chicago Sun-Times seems to have a different story. They’re reporting that Doug, who apparently thought Paris was too rich to notice a few extra charges on her credit card, had been sneaking in purchases here and there with Paris’ money without her knowledge.

The Sun-Times found some “reliable sources” who reported that Doug had been overheard bragging to friends about how he was using his “skills” to use Paris as his “meal ticket for life”.  Doug’s whole plan was foiled when Paris’ accountants noticed a number of unauthorized charges on the heiress’ credit cards.  Apparently Doug had been charging clothes, artwork, jewelry, and watches on Paris’ accounts without her permission.

No word yet on whether or not Paris’ people will be working to recover the stolen shopping spree money.

In Touch magazine found the girl that got in between Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt, and they even convinced her to talk.

Doug Reinhard’s ex-girlfriend, Deal or No Deal model Kendhal Beal claims that she was flirting with Doug at the Dark Room the night that Paris dumped him. According to Kendhal, when Paris caught her talking to Doug, she went ballistic and began launching fruit at her new-found enemy. Kendhal says,

Everyone was there having a great time, sitting at the bar, and I happen to be talking to Doug. Out of nowhere, Paris comes and starts throwing lemons and limes at me. It was kind of crazy!

According to Kendhal, Paris continued her outburst by yelling at Doug in front of everyone. The pair left the club together, but later split up when Paris headed back to her gated community, locking Doug out.

Friends have accused Doug of dating Paris solely for the publicity. Kendhal disagrees. She says,

Friend 1 says that the couple’s relationship ended at The Darkroom in L.A. two nights ago when they got in a big blow-out over something. We don’t know what.

Paris was videotaped crying her balls off, and staggering into a waiting car at the end of the night.

Paris Hilton is so smart that she knows The Hills is fake, even without ever watching the show.

As you may recall, Paris’ boyfriend Doug Reinhardt was previously cast as Lauren Conrad’s boyfriend on the scripted “reality” show. According to Paris, the show is so dumb that Doug won’t be popping up in any more episodes. Paris says,

The show is, like, so lame and fake. He doesn’t even want to be a part of it. They make up relationships when they’re not there, and he just thinks it’s lame. I’ve never seen the show in my life. I have no idea what it’s about. But he just thought it was cheesy.

Even though Doug has shunned The Hills for good, he hasn’t given up on all reality TV. He’ll be making appearances on the second season of Paris’ not fake or lame show, Paris Hilton’s My New BFF, which starts airing next week.
