Andy Tennant, the director of Bounty Hunter, is setting up what will probably be a failed attempt to draw some attention to his new film by going around telling reporters that stars Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Bultler were flirting (and hint, hint, hooking up) on set. Andy is also trying to convince everyone that Jennifer isn’t a lonely old hag with a stick up her butt. He announced today,

When you have that chemistry [between actors] you’re like ‘Thank God!’ because they’re having fun on day 45 and day 65 and they’re still flirting. Gerry likes to have fun, Jen likes to have fun, they don’t take themselves seriously — which is a big mistake people assume with Jennifer, but she’s a riot!

Jennifer also played her part by hanging all over Gerard at the film’s London premiere yesterday.

Gerard Butler’s misdemeanor battery charge for attacking a photographer back in 2008 was dismissed by the Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday after he successfully completed his court-ordered community service.

Gerard was facing up to 6 months in prison if convicted.

Looks like Lindsay Lohan’s done with that male model from last week. According to sources, she spent her weekend in Morocco, making out with Gerard Butler.

Lindsay reportedly started out her latest adventure at the Sol Kerzner Mazagan Beach Resort, where she grinded Gerard on the dance floor, in front of celebs like Guy Ritchie, Naomi Campbell, and Lieb Schreiber. She then pulled him off to a corner, where she proceeded to stick her tongue down his throat. When asked about the hook-up, Lindsay told reporters,

He’s hot, he’s mine! I’ve got no ring on my finger so I’m gonna have lots of fun. This is the most romantic place in the world after all.

The couple was last seen leaving together on a golf cart.

Rumor has it that Gerard Butler has a thing for Jessica Simpson. These two were spotted out having dinner on Tuesday night with a few of their friends, and sources say that they spent the entire night googly-eyeing each other. One witness told Page Six,

They were at a table with friends, but Jessica and Gerard, who sat next to each other, seemed to only be interested in each other and chatted for hours. They were laughing and flirting and eventually left together, along with Ken [Paves].

An elderly couple filed a report with the NYPD today against Gerard Butler, accusing the actor of beating up their greyhound Mayfly.

Fred and Maria Varecka went to the cops today, claiming that Gerard went nuts when Mayfly tried to touch noses with Gerard’s pug, Lolita during a walk on Monday. According to the couple, Gerard smashed Mayfly’s head into a fence, screaming, “that dog should be put down!”

Gerard, however, is calling BS on the couple’s story. He’s claiming that Mayfly bit Lolita on the neck so hard that he was forced to make an emergency trip to the vet.

After four hours at the animal hospital on Monday afternoon, Lolita was treated and released.

No citations have been issued against Gerard.

Gerard Butler was charged with misdemeanor criminal battery today for an October incident where he allegedly punched a photographer in the face at LA’s Crown Bar.

The actor, who’s due in court for his arraignment on June 10 faces up to six months in jail if convicted.
