A Pizza Hut commercial featuring an iguana, a dumb looking pizza delivery guy, and Heidi and Spencer Pratt acting like their usual idiot selves, was leaked online today. The ad was shot before the couple embarked on their “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here” jungle journey.
Pizza Hut chose not to air the commercial (gee we wonder why). Check it out, above.
Stephen Baldwin has finally revealed the reason for his departure last week from I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Outta Here. According to Stephen, he left the reality show after medics discovered that bugs had been laying eggs under his skin. Stephen told blogtalkradio,
I suffered in the first eight days of production, while in the jungle, over 125 insect bites on my body… I had about thirty on my left leg… 25 or 30 on each arm, kind of all over and two of them, much to my surprise, became quite lumpy initially.
Within about 72 hours they were these half dollar-sized lumps under my skin that were probably about an inch thick and were situations where they just weren’t a reaction that were the same as the others - 123 so to speak.
I did get to take some time with the medic who explained that in his opinion at that point he didn’t think that it was the ‘implantation of insect larvae into my flesh’, but that - oh gosh - that’s what it could be… So they tested these things and sure enough, Stevie B was ‘pregnant.’
Medics ended up removing the larvae from Stephen’s body, and he’s now recovering from the procedure. Video of the insect removal will be available soon.
Janice Dickinson was reportedly taken out of the Costa Rican jungle set of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! after suffering from an unknown medical emergency over the weekend. According to a source,
It’s fair to say she was taken by ambulance this weekend from camp to an on-site medical facility for treatment for an undisclosed condition.
Janice’s emergency will reportedly be revealed on tonight’s episode of the NBC show.
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt made an appearance on the Today Show this morning where Al Roker proceeded to grill them about their behavior on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Outta Here!
Unfortunately the verbal beat-down lasted only several minutes. Check out the gruesome twosome (above).
Update: Al Roker took to his Twitter page right after the interview and wrote the following message:
Heidi and Spencer are an interesting couple. famous for…being infamous. Bad and vacuous behavior. I think we’re at minute 11 of their 15.
At the same time, Heidi placed a call to Ryan Seacrest to cry about the horrendous treatment that she suffered on the show. According to Heidi,
I was shocked at how rude he was - I was crying afterwards because I couldn’t believe I felt personally attacked … I wanted to say to him, do you feel proud of how you’re talking to me right now? I’m just a young woman and you’re coming at me so aggressively and meanly [sic] and mean-spirited.
I just wanted to talk about the show and my experience there and how fun it was, and he just made it a very uncomfortable and awful experience … I really would advise women especially to be careful around him because I feel like he definitely came and attacked me and I did not appreciate that at all.

Holly Montag, who was flown in just recently to replace Speidi in the I’m a Celebrity jungle, is reportedly already BFFs with a certain other cast member.
According to sources, Holly has been getting extra cozy (in a supposedly friendly way) with American Idol finalist, Sanjaya Malakar. One person close to the production says,
They’ve been spending a lot of time together. She’s even admitted to having a little crush on him!
The source adds that the pair have even been referring to themselves as “Sanjolly”.

After NBC producers informed Heidi and Spencer Pratt that video footage taken by the crew would prove without a doubt that they were not tortured during the taping of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Heidi’s rep was finally forced to release a statement agreeing that the gruesome twosome were never mistreated on the Costa Rican jungle set. The rep said,
There have been many reports that surfaced over the weekend regarding Spencer and Heidi Pratt. Many of these reports are false and inaccurate, including any reports of ‘torture’ on the show.
Heidi is currently recovering in Costa Rica after being hospitalized for a stomach ulcer. Rumor has it that her sister Holly will be replacing her on the show.
Heidi Montag, who was in Costa Rica shooting I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here, was rushed to a hospital earlier today for an undisclosed medical problem. NBC reportedly allowed Spencer Pratt to leave the show’s jungle set to accompany Heidi to the hospital.
Earlier today, NBC’s executive vice president of alternative programming, Paul Telegdy told reporters that the producers had been playing a “psychological experiment” on the couple after they threatened to leave the show earlier in the week.
Paul explained that the pair were placed in a dark secluded cell together for several days. He said,
When we cut the lights, we have them on infrared cameras, and all we can say is you see two sets of very terrified eyes, blinking, goggle-eyed, terror-struck! They prayed quite vigorously.
No word yet on whether or not the seclusion had anything to do with Heidi’s emergency.
Update: Spencer’s sister Stephanie just tweeted,
Rushed to the hospital and has an IV in her arm after being locked in a dark room for 3 days w no food or water. Pls pray she will be ok…
Sources are saying that Heidi is suffering from some sort of infection. Her family is currently en route to the Costa Rican hospital where Heidi is currently being treated.
Update #2: Sources on set are now saying that Heidi has been diagnosed with a gastric ulcer. According to the sources, NBC executives first tried to tell Heidi not to go to the hospital, but finally sent an ambulance when she insisted. Heidi was released from the hospital after treatment last night, and is now on medication.
Some anonymous cast or crew members are comparing the set of the show to Guantanamo Bay. One person has told reporters that other cast members have also threatened to quit the show, but NBC has been holding their passports. In addition, apparently the contracts that all cast members signed before going on the show required them to stay the entire time.
A rep for Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt has just released a statement saying that the gruesome twosome did not in fact leave the Costa Rican Jungle set of I’m A Celebrity last night.
Apparently the whole departure from the show was just a publicity stunt drummed up by NBC to get viewers to watch the show. NBC even sent Spencer’s sister Stephanie and one of her friends to LAX to pose under a blanket and pretend to be Speidi getting off a plane.

Speidi are now on their way back to LA for a series of scheduled interviews to explain their side of the story. According to sources, during their return trip, they attempted to call NBC to get themselves back on the show, but NBC had yet to respond.
Yesterday, we reported that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were so miserable on the jungle set of I’m a Celebrity that they almost walked out on the show until an NBC exec was able to convince them to stay.
Well today, a source close to the production is reporting that after being forced to eat rat tails and getting accused of hitting other cast members yesterday, the pair have finally quit the charitable show for real.

Apparently Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt found the Costa Rican jungle set of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here, a little too rough for their pampered Hollywood selves to handle. The pair reportedly tried to leave the show over the weekend after finding out that they would not be eating fancy food or staying in a nice hotel.
We’re even more pleased to hear that it seems this display of entitlement wasn’t all for Speidi’s usual bid for attention. NBC’s executive VP of Alternative Programming, Paul Telegdy confirmed that he was forced to change his weekend plans and fly out to Costa Rica on Saturday to keep the unhappy couple from quitting the show. Paul told Ryan Seacrest this morning,
All I can say is what’s unfolding here is some of the most extraordinary TV that I’ve ever witnessed as 20 years as a producer.
Paul was finally able to convince the pair to stay for now, but not before getting that awesome picture of Heidi looking like a drowned rat, above.
