Emma Watson and her boyfriend of two years, Jay Barrymore have reportedly called it quits.
According to sources, the couple were unable to make the relationship work with Emma at school in the US and Jay working in the UK.
Emma has reportedly moved on to Rafael Cebrian, a classmate of hers at Brown University. Rafael has even convinced Emma to take a role in the school’s production of Chekhov’s Three Sisters. Sources say that Emma and Rafael are now “virtually inseparable”.
Emma Watson’s boyfriend Jay Barrymore was reportedly planning a move from Britain over to the U.S. to keep an eye on his college-student girlfriend, but it looks like Emma may have already found herself a replacement man.
The Harry Potter actress was spotted at a New York Rangers game on Saturday night with Spanish drummer, Rafael Cebrian - who plays in a band called Monomes. According to a witness, the pair were seated with Yves Saint Laurent creative director Stefano Pilati, but were focusing most of their attention at one another. The source added that the two “looked like they were on a date”.

The couple have been together for almost a year and a half. Last week, Emma confirmed her plans to head to the U.S. for college next year, but she’s reportedly planning on continuing her relationship from a distance.
