John Mayer put his douchebag self aside to bring an 11-year-old kid named Austin on stage to play Belief with him at his show in Philly the other day.

Austin was plucked out of the crowd after he showed up with with a sign that read “Can I please play Belief with you?”

His mom later wrote a letter to John’s management team, saying,

John made an 11-year-old’s dream come true. John gave him the guitar after the show and we needed security to get out of the stadium.

Everyone wanted a picture with him. If you get a chance watch some of the videos on You Tube, it is touching. As John said, ‘The kid pulled through.’ I just wanted to thank JM for pulling through for Austin.

Joe Simpson reportedly called John Mayer on the phone over the weekend, to yell at him for calling his daughter Jessica “sexual napalm” in his recent Playboy interview.

According to a source,

The conversation was pretty one-sided. Joe told John that he best not even think of uttering Jessica’s name again. Joe told John to stay away from his family and man-up and apologize for his comments.

John supposedly sent Jessica an email after the friendly phone conversation with dad, apologizing for talking about her in his interview.

Taylor Swift and John Mayer were reportedly spotted having dinner together at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, CA earlier this month, according to the ever-reliable Star Magazine. A source for the mag said,

John Mayer reportedly pulled an oh-no-he-didn’t last week at The Slipper room in New York, when he jumped up on stage and made a few racist remarks to comedian Kumail Nanjiani.

According to sources at the show, John decided to exercise his funny skills the other night, so he convinced the show’s host Seth Herzog to allow him to do a 5-minute-long routine. He decided however, to stay on stage for 20 minutes, which cut into real comedian Kumail’s stage time. When he finally left the stage, Kumail went on to perform, but this apparently annoyed John, so John decided to crash the stage during the middle of Kumail’s performance, and start spewing racist jokes to the Pakistani comedian.

John reportedly called Kumail “Kabul”, and then went on to tell him that he “looked like a brown guy but sounded like a white guy”.

John finally issued a John-Mayer-style apology over the weekend, saying,

I don’t know how to do it yet. I don’t know how to bomb. It was combative in the sense that the crowd didn’t really accept the fact that the jock, the guy who gets the girls, was at a place where the guys go who talk about how they don’t get the girls.

John humbly added that he personally apologized to Kumail after the show, and that Kumail accepted.

Inside, he talks about how intellectual he is, what an accomplished musician he is, and pretty much awesome he is overall. The article’s writer tries to defend John’s image by repeatedly blaming the interview’s obnoxious tone on John’s “tendency to deliver his lines—whether sincere or surreal—deadpan”.

Even though he may come across as an arrogant bastard, John thinks that you’ll hate him a lot less if you focus on the quality of his music rather than his personality in the media. He concludes the interview by saying,

John Mayer was caught a couple of weeks ago, trying to smuggle a knife through security at JFK Airport - according to our favorite fake news source, Star Magazine.

Star’s source claimed that when security found the knife, instead of busting John, they then allowed him to hand it over to his driver, who then took the thing back to his house. According to the source, they went easy on John because they realized that he was a celebrity.

Several US Weekly sources are reporting that John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston are back on again.

These two first dated from April 2008 to January 2009, but sources say that they’ve remained in touch, and have been texting each other and meeting up for dinners ever since their break-up. Most recently, the pair supposedly had a little rendezvous at the Four Seasons hotel in NYC on Sept. 22, and they’re apparently still really into each other. According to one source,

The latest in John Mayer news says that the rolly-eyed singer has rekindled his romance with Jessica Simpson, but he’s also secretly dating Kristin Cavallari on the side.

According to sources close to Mayerland, Jessica contacted John out of the blue after her break-up with Tony Romo in July, and began hooking up with him to make herself feel better.

At the same time, Page Six is reporting that for the past two years, John has also been meeting up with Kristin Cavallari for some regular no-strings-attached fun. Kristin was supposedly the one who never wanted to go public with the fling to avoid being labeled a slut. Both John and Kristin have dated plenty of other people throughout their relationship together.

Now, sources are saying that things are actually getting serious between Kristin and John, meaning that John may just dump poor Jessica again and go public with Kristin.
