Jude Law and his accidental babymama, Samantha Burke have reportedly come to a custody agreement for their 6-month-old baby girl, Sophia.

Jude will supposedly pay a total of $5,000 per month in child support, and will see his daughter twice a year - once around Christmastime, once later in the year.

He met Sophia for the first time in Florida last month in a business meeting-like setting with his lawyers present. Samantha has reportedly signed a confidentiality clause as part of the custody agreement, which will ban her from talking to the press.

Jude Law and his trusty lawyer Maurice Kutner flew to Florida together this weekend to finally meet Jude’s new lovechild with model Samantha Burke.

Jude and Maurice spent six hours in a private meeting before joining up with Samantha, her mother Lea, and baby Sophia in an office building in Miami. Two other men, thought to be Samantha’s lawyers were also present. Jude was said to be “very on edge” about the meet-up with Sophia who is now five months old.

Jude Law reportedly called Samantha Burke up around Christmas time and asked her if he could come over and see his illegitimate kid, Sophia sometime in the next few weeks.

According to News of the World, Samantha is excited about the visit, not because her kid will finally have a chance to meet her daddy, but because she’s hoping that Jude will fall in love with her again when he shows up. One insider told the British tabloid,

She told us they would get back together but I think Jude just feels a responsibility to his daughter.

Jude Law has just responded to an accusation that he hurled oranges at NYU students from his Washington Square apartment earlier this year. He insisted however, that he only did so because the annoying college kids were spying on him. The actor said,

I just got a bit upset. They were spying on me while I was hanging out with the kids and working out…

It got to the point where I truly felt like (they were) peeping Toms. And where I come from, peeping Toms have things thrown at them - they were lucky I’d run out of eggs.

The kids told the NY Post in November that because of the incident, “we don’t like Jude Law anymore”.

A group of NYU freshmen were attacked with oranges by Jude Law recently, after Jude caught them taking pictures of him exercising on the balcony of his Manhattan apartment.

The kids noticed when they moved in a few months ago, that their dorm room had a clear view of Jude’s residence. Some had been inviting friends over for viewing sessions in their rooms for months, but when the kids decided to start taking pictures, Jude reportedly took a few oranges, and pelted them at the students’ windows. One of the kids told Page Six, “Now we don’t like Jude Law anymore”.

It looks like Hello! Magazine, who shelled out about $300,000 for the first exclusive baby photos of Jude Law’s illegitimate kid with Samantha Burke, didn’t get to enjoy their exclusivity for long.

Surprisingly, Jude Law’s baby momma, Samantha Burke had no intention of keeping all of the cash that she made from selling the 14-page spread of her baby daughter Sophia to Hello! Magazine. According to her, some of that money was donated to Ronald McDonald House. She said,

Both Sophia and I were compensated for the photographs, and will donate a portion of the compensation to the Ronald McDonald House to assist with the completion of their new facility in Pensacola, FL.

The rest of the money will be placed in a trust fund for Sophia, to be used on her education - because the $150,000 per year from daddy just won’t be enough.

Sally Potter’s new experimental film Rage starring a cross-dressed Jude Law is set for release straight to cellphones around the world starting on Sept. 24. Sally is reportedly excited about using the new medium to broadcast the movie, even though she’s pretty sure she’s pulling a financial suicide. She recently told reporters,

We don’t know how this is going to work, especially since it is the first ever feature on cellphones. We’re making it up as we go along and taking the plunge and the risk. There’s so much terror in the film industry at the moment about piracy, people stealing your idea and making money off of it; and the only way I found of dealing with that is to say, ‘Here, have it.’ If you keep looking over your shoulder, you don’t trailblaze.

It’s not necessarily a great money spinner. At the moment I’m in debt but the great advantage of being in debt means you’ve got nothing to lose.

The film, which will release on Thursday, will be tied to an interactive press conference where viewers will have the chance to text and Skype in questions to the filmmakers and actors from various locations around the world.
