Kareem Abdul-Jabbar revealed today that he was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia about a year ago.
The cancer is caused by the existence of an abnormal protein in Kareem’s body. The father of five is currently being treated for the disease, and he’s expected to make a full recovery. He told reporters today,
