Justin Timberlake may be one of GQ’s Most Stylish Men in America this year, but he still gives credit to his parents for bringing him up right.
Justin tells GQ that he got his fashion sense from his (step) dad who’s probably gay. He says,
Nobody dressed like my dad. When he worked at the bank, he looked like Richard Gere in Gigolo. And he would do it all the night before, laying out the suit he’d wear the next day. Even on weekends, if he had to go into the office, he’d wear a trouser pant with a V-neck sweater and tie. And I was like, I want to dress like that! He was just so cool.
Justin also gives his mom props for teaching him good manners, and the importance of hard work.
Finally, Justin tells GQ that that his favorite style icon is Kate Moss because she looks great naked; and that, my friends, is what Justin sees as the mark of a true leader in fashion - the ability to look totally awesome wearing absolutely nothing at all.
