Mike Tyson has signed a deal with Animal Planet to star in a show about pigeon racing. Apparently, Mike has been breeding pigeons and other birds on the rooftops of NYC ever since he was a little kid (who knew?), and this new show will chronicle his first experiences racing his beloved animals. Mike said of the project yesterday,

I’m honored to be a part of this monumental show on Animal Planet. I feel a great pride acting as an official representative for all the pigeon fancier’s out there. I want people to see why we love these birds. It feels good returning to the rooftops of the city where it all started for me - New York.

The new show will be called Taking on Tyson and will premiere on Animal Planet in early 2011.

The LAPD passed Mike Tyson’s LAX paparazzi assault case to L.A. prosecutors yesterday morning.

The city attorney is currently investigating the case. No word yet on whether or not he plans to charge Mike with criminal battery. The photographer, Tony Echevarria is also facing possible charges for possibly instigating the fight.

Mike claimed after the incident that he only hit Tony to defend his kid after Tony touched a stroller that the kid was sitting in. Both Mike and Tony were arrested at the scene.

Mike Tyson was arrested at a ticket counter at LAX airport around 4:30 PM today, after he reportedly punched a paparazzo so hard that the man walked away leaving a trail of blood.

The photographer was reportedly following Mike, when Mike turned around and punched him in the face. The photog then got up and began to stumble away, leaving blood everywhere. Mike was taken into custody, and an ambulance took the photographer to a local hospital.

Update: According to a witness at the scene, Mike had just returned to the states after spending four days in England with his wife Lakiha Spicer, and daughter Milan. He was already upset over some lost luggage at the airport, when a cameraman named Tony started following him. Mike lost it when Tony trailed him to the bathroom. At that point, the two got into a heated argument, and punches were thrown. Police at the scene were unable to determine who started the fight, so both Mike and Tony were taken into custody.

Mike Tyson recently sat down with E! to give his first interview following the death of his 4-year-old daughter Exodus. According to Mike,

I am working with dealing with it. I have spoken to a lot of people. I have become a member of an exclusive club no one wants to join. I have been told the pain never stops but you get over it. I am going through a process, trying to heal. I am in denial, because I don’t know how to handle it. I don’t know what to do or say. I appreciate everybody who supported me.

Exodus was found unconscious with a treadmill cord wrapped around her neck in May. She died in the hospital the next day.

Mike Tyson and his girlfriend Lakiha Spicer were married at La Bella Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas over the weekend.

The couple’s four-year-old daughter Exodus died from an accident on a treadmill just a few weeks ago.

Mike and Lakiha did not have any guests present at their wedding, which took place at 10 PM on Sunday night, the same day that they applied for their marriage license.

TMZ got their hands on the transcript of the call that Exodus Tyson’s mother placed to 911 on Monday.

It appears that Mike Tyson’s 4-year-old daughter was strangled and possibly shocked by a treadmill cable, and had blood in her lungs when her brother found her. The girl’s mother frantically performed CPR on her while on the line with 911 until paramedics arrived.

Exodus was placed on life support after arriving at the hospital, and passed away the following day.

The Phoenix Police Department has just issued a statement confirming that Mike Tyson’s 4-year-old daughter died earlier today in a Phoenix hospital.

The statement reads:

I was just advised by investigators that Exodus Tyson was pronounced deceased at 11:45 AM today at the hospital. Our sympathies go out to the family.

Exodus was found by her 7-year-old brother, hanging on the power cable of a treadmill in the family’s home yesterday. She was taken to the hospital and put on life support.

The Tyson family has yet to comment on the tragedy.

Mike Tyson’s 4-year-old daughter Exodus, who was critically injured when she accidentally hung herself on a treadmill cable yesterday, is reportedly on life support in critical condition in a Phoenix, Arizona hospital today.

Exodus’ 7-year-old brother reportedly summoned his mother when he found his sister unconscious in a room with exercise equipment. The mother attempted to perform CPR on the girl, but was unable to get her to breathe. Paramedics took over resuscitation efforts when they arrived.

Mike flew to Phoenix from Las Vegas yesterday to be with his daughter.  The Tyson family released the following statement regarding the accident:

The Tyson family would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks for all your prayers and support, and we ask that we be allowed our privacy at this difficult time.

Mike Tyson’s 4-year-old daughter Exodus is reportedly in critical condition after being found by her 7-year-old brother, hanging from a treadmill cord.

According to reports, the accident occurred when the girl’s mother left her unattended in a room with exercise equipment while she was cleaning her house at 10:30 this morning.

Exodus was found by her older brother, who then alerted his mother. The mother called 911 and began performing CPR. The girl was rushed to St. Joe’s Hospital in Phoenix shortly after. Police are ruling the incident a “tragic accident”.

Tyson sold this house in the late 1990’s to a guy named Paul Monea. Monea, a businessman, bought the home for $1.3 Million, but never lived in it. In 2006, Monea was busted when he tried to sell the home to an undercover FBI agent who tried to buy the home with drug money.
