Miley Cyrus showed one of her more humble sides during an interview with the Morning Mash Up radio show this morning, when she told her listeners that she really doesn’t get star struck these days, because “I’m pretty much the coolest person ever”.
She added that she’s so grown-up and experienced with life that she’s nothing like any of the other dumb teenage girls out there. She does have a crush on Zac Efron though, but her case is different because unlike other kids her age, Zac is actually her friend IRL.
A man driving one of Miley Cyrus’ tour buses was killed last night, after the bus drifted off the road and flipped over on I-85 south about 45 miles outside of Richmond, Virginia. According to officials, the roads were wet with rain last night, but the road conditions have not been singled out as the cause of the accident.
10 people were on board the bus at the time of the crash. The bus driver was killed and the other 9 people suffered minor injuries. Miley was on another bus in the 4-vehicle caravan, and was not involved in the accident.
Update: The 911 calls from the tour bus indicate that the bus driver, William Douglas, was suffering from a heart attack shortly before the bus drifted off the road.

Mark McLeod was acquitted of stalking Miley Cyrus by a jury earlier this week, but he wasn’t off the hook for all charges. He pleaded guilty to obstruction of police and disorderly conduct today, and was sentenced to 24 months of probation as a result.
As part of his probation, Mark will be required to seek mental health treatment. He also won’t be allowed to use a computer for the next two years. He’ll apparently still be allowed to watch TV - which should come as a relief to him, since that was the the medium that Miley was using to send him telepathic messages.
Mark’s sister is now on her way to the jail to pick him up.
Looks like Miley Cyrus has another stalker on her hands. This one, unlike the last, has no intentions of marrying her. Instead, he’s looking to kill her - either that, or he’s just some dumb kid effing around.
According to the police report, 22-year-old Sean Christian Mathis was arrested near the set of Miley’s movie set in Georgia, after he found Miley’s stunt double, and yelled at her, “Hey, it’s Miley Cyrus, I’m going to f**king kill you.”
Sean was arrested for making “terroristic threats”, and for disorderly conduct. Charges will likely be filed soon.
Miley Cyrus beat out Britney Spears and Kanye West for the top spot in an AOL poll for Worst Celebrity Influence yesterday. Apparently kids think that having a shaved head or a big head isn’t nearly as bad as pole dancing, being racist, and dressing like a slut.
42 percent of nearly 45,000 voters in the poll voted Miley for the great honor.
On the flip side, Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas, and Taylor Swift picked up the top spots for Best Celebrity Influence.
Mark McLeod, that 53-year-old guy arrested over the summer for stalking Miley Cyrus, was set free earlier today after a jury ruled that there was insufficient evidence to indict him for any crime.
Mark made headlines a few months ago, when he popped up on the set of Miley’s new movie in Georgia, and made inappropriate comments to some of Miley’s fans. At the time of his arrest, Mark told cops that he was engaged to Miley, and that she had been sending him messages through her Hannah Montana show.
Miley was granted a temporary restraining order against Mark in August. No word yet on whether or not the order will be extended.

Apparently Miley Cyrus’ recent god awful Twitter rap wasn’t enough to fully explain why she quit the microblogging site, so over the weekend, she posted an essay on her website to further justify her actions. Miley said,
To my dearest fans,
You all are the closest thing to my heart & it breaks my spirit to hear that some of you feel neglected since I deleted my twitter. It was a wonderful way to stay connected to you & I really felt like during that time we became very much like friends. Twitter is a beautiful thing if used for the right reason. I love my job so much that it is hard to believe sometimes that it is considered “working. But, in the end it is still a business and I do need some sort of a “normal” life as well. I often complain to the ones closest to me that I don’t seem to have much of a private life any more and part of that is my fault. How can I whine about my life being to public if I am the one telling the world what I am doing? Some things in my life need to say in my life only and not on some gossip site. I never want any of my fans to feel like I don’t love them or care about them BUT, sharing the same love and respect for me I need to have the space to grow as a person and make some mistakes. I need to be able to live and learn in private. I never want to quit entertaining it is my life, my love, and my passion but I can’t have my personal life be other peoples entertainment.
Twitter is not the only thing I am cutting back on. This is not an attack against this particular site, I just think kids all over the world could maybe take a little vacation from Cyberspace. My problem with the internet is it makes negativity so available. It allows people to anonymously hurt others without any consequences. That is not the real world. Not only that, but if we spent more time enjoying what we are doing besides tweeting about it, we would enjoy our lives a whole lot more. I have very little free time and the moments that I do have I should be spending with my family and friends and loving every minute of their company.
Now of course rumors have been started that Liam is the reason that I deleted my twitter. I hope my true fans know how stupid that is. I had mentioned to him that someone made a fake twitter with his name and we both starting chatting about how ridiculous it is. Liam is a wonderful friend and he did not try to make me delete my page, he just helped me realize how much time I was wasting on that site.
I really hope you all know how much you mean to me and how much I truly care about each and every one of you. I will keep in touch through Mileyworld and MileyCyrus.com as I did before twitter. I love you all.
