Tiger Woods’ Legal Team Shoots Down PETA Ad

tiger_woods_peta

Tiger Woods’ lawyers have just banned PETA from releasing their latest billboard campaign featuring their sex-addicted client.

PETA explained their reasoning behind the campaign, saying,

While the world has been transfixed by the story of Tiger Woods’ sex life, we’ve been trying to put the focus where it belongs. Instead of talking about what a pro golfer did in his private life, we’re trying to focus the discussion on how we can all help reduce the homeless animal population by simply spaying and neutering.

PETA Pulls Michelle Obama Ads

michelle_obama_peta_ad

After a healthy dose of public criticism, PETA finally agreed yesterday to take their anti-fur ads featuring Michelle Obama out of Washington D.C.-area Metro stations.

Michelle had indicated in the past that she didn’t wear fur, but had never agreed to allow PETA to use her in their campaign.

PETA, who came under fire earlier today for using Michelle Obama in their latest anti-fur campaign without her permission, has released a statement in an attempt to sweet talk Michelle and the White House legal team out of suing them for their mistake. The statement read:

We haven’t asked the White House to fund or promote the campaign, as they can’t do such things, but the fact is that Michelle Obama has issued a statement indicating that she doesn’t wear fur, and the world should know that in PETA’s eyes, that makes her pretty fabulous.

No word yet on whether or not any legal action will be taken against the organization.

The Catholic League is condemning Joanna Krupa’s new PETA ad, because apparently Jesus is not ok with people using crosses to hide their nipples.

The organization released a statement yesterday, calling PETA “animal killers”, and accusing them of exploiting the cross for publicity. Joanna responded to the league’s statement by saying,

It’s understandable that the Catholic League is wary of another sex scandal, but the sex we’re talking about pertains to dogs and cats.

…just ignore the fact that Joanna’s naked too. She continued,

As a practicing Catholic, I am shocked that the Catholic League is speaking out against my PETA ads, which I am very proud of. I’m doing what the Catholic Church should be doing, working to stop senseless suffering of animals, the most defenseless of god’s creation.

PETA Isn’t Down With Paris Hilton’s Pet Pig

paris_hilton_pig

PETA is apparently not so happy about Paris Hilton’s newest pet - a pig which she named Princess Piglette. In fact, they really don’t like any of her pets at all.

A PETA spokesperson released a statement yesterday, blasting Paris for extensive pet collection. The spokesperson said,

The Chihuahuas, ferrets, and kinkajous she’s paraded through her home in the past were not accessories, and pot-bellied pigs aren’t either.

The statement also called Paris’ personal zoo a “wretched example” for her young impressionable fans.

Jenna Jameson Does Playboy

Jenna Jameson, who popped a couple of babies out of her vagina just a few months ago, has already gone back to work - taking off her clothes for various on-camera gigs.

The former porn star first showed off her skinny post-pregnancy body to Playboy last week. Right after her Playboy shoot, she headed out to an LA studio to do a 30-second-spot slamming the McDonald’s McNugget-making process for PETA. That ad will air in September.

Eat George Clooney Tofu

The wackos over at PETA are at it again.  They’ve tried with the flour pelting, Halloween masks, and breast milk ice cream, but have thus far, failed to turn the world’s population into skinny vegans.

Now, PETA has a new plan.  They’re trying to use a towel soaked with George Clooney’s sweat that somebody found, to make a line of tofu that tastes like George himself.

PETA members have reportedly sent along a friendly letter to George, requesting his permission to make the Tofu, which they are calling CloFu. PETA’s statement says,

Cheese-scented CloFu could be used as pizza topping and in lasagna…CloFu will help people be healthier and more environmentally friendly and will spare animals from being killed for the table.

George is said to be hurt by the idea of his mammel juice being used for human consumption.

Madonna Makes PETA’s Worst Dressed List

PETA has voted Madonna the worst-dressed celebrity of the year for her animal-unfriendly wardrobe. For her reward, Madonna, who even topped the Olsen Twins, received this verbal beating from PETA spokespeople:

When you see Madonna in fur, you realize why nobody has copied her style since 1984. We know that she’s on the prowl for a young cub, but someone needs to tell Madge that wearing fur doesn’t make you a cougar.

If you were really really looking forward to seeing the ad above in full HD big screen glory on Sunday, you’ll be sad/depressed/totally-effing-pissed to hear that NBC has decided to pull the controversial PETA ad from its Super Bowl commercial line-up.

A rep for PETA, who is obviously ready to blow her veggie dome over the matter says,

PETA’s veggie ads are locked out, while ads for fried chicken and burgers are allowed, even though these foods make Americans fat, sick and boring in bed.

Mmmm fried chicken and sex…

I guess millions of American households will now be stuck watching that dreaded football.

PETA Gets Pissed At Britney Spears

A PETA blogger has lashed out at Britney Spears for using elephants in her Circus video. The PETA activist, Christine Doré says,

As Britney is such a victim of the paparazzi and always complaining and crying about how she hates to be held up in her guarded house and can’t feel free, she of all people should be able to relate to the horror that captive animals go through when they’re used for entertainment. Except Britney chooses to perform, and the lifestyle just comes with it. Animals are ripped away from their mothers at a young age, kept in chains, and prodded with electric shock devices to make them perform. That doesn’t sound so voluntary to me.

PETA even has a form on their website that people can fill out to send to Britney and her manager Larry Rudolph protesting Brit’s use of live animals in her videos.
