According to US Weekly, Katy Perry and Russell Brand have gotten engaged - for real this time.
Katy reportedly got the ring from Russell during their New Years vacation in India last week.
The couple began dating in September of last year.

The past few days have been busy ones for Katy Perry. According to multiple sources, the singer was seen making out feverishly with a couple of different boys.
First up - John Mayer (germy!). Katy was spotted kissing him at Gold Bar on Friday night. Next, Russell Brand. He joked about liking her onstage at the VMAs, she took the cue and hunted him down at Lady Gaga’s after-party at Avenue in NYC.
Not only did Russell kiss Katy, according to a source, he also checked out her breasts.

Russell Brand made fun of the Jonas Brothers for wearing purity rings at last night’s VMAs. Paris Hilton has just responded to said joke. Paris says,
I don’t pick on them. That’s something cool for a kid to keep, so don’t pick on them for that. I think that they’re all really good kids and that they’re definitely our next generation of kids and they’re all really good so I think that’s awesome.
I agree. It’s really good to be good, and it’s cool that they’re good, so that’s totally awesome and I’m glad that they’re awesome….
Amy Winehouse is reportedly heading back to rehab after a train wreck of a performance at the V Festival, hitting a woman with her purse, and taking her 12-year-old goddaughter clubbing this past week.
British comedian Russell Brand is apparently behind this move. He suggested the Focus 12 rehab clinic where he himself had received treatment. The location is just 15 miles from Highpoint Prison where her husband Blake is doing time.
This way, she can kill two bird with one stone by kicking her habit and visiting her junkie bf in prison at the same time. Yeah, sounds like it should work this time.
MTV has just released two VMA promo spots featuring Britney Spears and VMA host, British comedian Russell Brand. We watched it 5 or 6 times before realizing there was also an elephant in the room.
