Ryan Seacrest’s stalker Chidi Uzomah has pleaded no contest to felony stalking. He was caught following Ryan around last year with a knife.
He’ll be submitting to a 3-month psych evaluation, and is facing up to two years in jail.
Ryan Seacrest was granted a permanent restraining order against Chidi Uzomah in court today. Chidi is currently in police custody, accused of stalking Ryan at his workplace.
Chidi is now required to stay 100 yards away from Ryan for the next three years. He’s also not allowed to make contact with Ryan in any way.
Chidi Uzomah, the man charged with stalking Ryan Seacrest, has just pleaded not guilty to one count of felony stalking and two misdemeanor counts of disobeying a court order.
A judge granted Ryan a restraining order against Chidi, and set Chidi’s bail at $150,000. He’s due back in court on November 16, where he’ll face up to four years in prison if convicted.

Ryan Seacrest has just been granted a temporary restraining order against Chidi Uzomah, the guy who was arrested today for allegedly stalking him at the E! entertainment building.
Chidi is now required to stay at least 100 yards from Ryan at all times. He’s also not allowed near Ryan’s home, job, or car. Chidi is currently being held by the LAPD on felony stalking charges.
An alleged Ryan Seacrest stalker was arrested inside of the E! entertainment building just about an hour ago. The man, Chidi Uzomah, was the same man who attacked Ryan’s security guard outside of a hospital last month. He had already pleaded guilty to three misdemeanors in that case. He was sentenced to three years probation and ordered to avoid contact with Ryan.
Chidi was caught today after entering the lobby, and asking the security guard if he could meet with Ryan. The guard recognized Chidi, and called the LAPD. The LAPD arrived at the scene shortly after, and Chidi was arrested. Ryan was in the building at the time.
Paula Abdul reportedly quit American Idol after she heard that Fox execs had offered Ryan Seacrest a much higher salary than her $8 million per year. Today however, Fox Chairman of Entertainment Peter Rice told reporters that even though Ryan would be making more money outside of the show, he would not specifically be making the $15 million to be on Idol. According to Peter,
Ryan made a deal with CKX, which encompasses much more than Idol and Ryan is not being paid $15 million a year to be on Idol.
Paula was possibly under the impression that she was being offered an insulting $7 million less than Ryan when she halted negotiations earlier this week.
Recessions apparently don’t do Ryan Seacrest. The American Idol host has reportedly just signed a $45 million 3-year deal with CKX - Idol producer’s parent company, making him the highest paid reality TV show host of all time.
He’s also currently an E! News anchor, radio show host, and producer for shows like Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Ryan Seacrest, who spent a noisy night with Lindsay Lohan yesterday, attempted to explain away his actions by insisting that he was doing nothing more than mentoring her on her music career.
Ryan told reporters yesterday,
I’m trying to give her guidance. She wants to sing. She loves to sing… and she’s good.
Loading ...Update: Ryan is now telling TMZ that he and Lindsay are working on a reality show together. Apparently it has something to do with helping eff ups by giving them a million bucks to fund their second chances.
Lindsay Lohan has apparently forgotten all about the joys of vagina. Our favorite freckled creature of the night was spotted leaving a club with Ryan Seacrest yesterday. Photographers caught Lindsay dragging Ryan into a car that took them straight to her house for a little one-on-one time.
Lindsay obviously didn’t want anyone to hear what she and Ryan were doing inside, because as soon as they arrived, photographers outside reported hearing the music turned up at full blast. Neighbors eventually called in a noise complaint around 3:30 AM, so Lindsay and Ryan moved the party over to Ryan’s house where they spent the rest of the night holed up together.
Still no confirmation on what they were doing.
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt called into their BFF Ryan Seacrest’s radio show this morning to give the low down on their current plans as a married couple.
The pair are reportedly in Mexico right now, shooting a music video for Heidi’s now single, Sex Ed. Unfortunately for us, Spencer mentioned that they’ve both been wearing face masks in public, and Heidi told Ryan that they’ve been washing their hands regularly.
Speidi also told Ryan all about their honey moon plans, which naturally, are up to the MTV producers. Spencer said,
I think we’re discussing with MTV going to Tahiti or Fiji, somewhere tropical and exciting. [But] since it is a recession, we might just be going to Santa Monica Beach.
When asked about their wedding, Heidi told Ryan,
All of our friends and family were there, and they were so loving and supportive. There were so many fans that were waiting outside, screaming when we came out. We appreciate their support. It was amazing and beautiful. The ceremony, having my dad walk me down the aisle, having Spencer there, it was the best day of my life. It was amazing.
The ceremony reportedly wasn’t so amazing for all of their guests, however. Some were complaining about the late start due to a failed power generator at the church which halted MTV’s production, and you know, you can’t start the wedding until The Hills can get their shots.
Paris says she’s not getting it on with Princes William and Harry, or with Guy Ritchie. Paris told Ryan Seacrest yesterday morning that tabloids lie. REALLY?!?
She told Ryan she recently celebrated her eight month anniversary with Benji from afar. She said he had roses and caviar delivered to her hotel room yesterday morning. Spiny flowers and salty fish eggs. How sweeeet.
