An Ohio police chief who allegedly broke into the home of Sarah Jessica Parker’s surrogate, was sentenced yesterday to 50 days under house arrest.

Chief Chad Dojack pleaded no contest to one misdemeanor count of dereliction of duty last week, prompting prosecutors to drop his more serious burglary and stolen property charges.

In addition to his house arrest, Chief Dojack will be required to serve three years of probation, and 100 hours of community service. Dojack got off easy compared to his partner in crime, Barry Carpenter, who was sentenced to two years and eight months behind bars last year.

SJP’s Surrogate Testifies In Court

sjp-matthew-broderick-surrogate

Sarah Jessica Parker’s surrogate, Michelle Ross took the stand against Ohio police officers, Barry Carpenter and Chad Dojack yesterday. The cops are being accused of illegally entering Michelle’s home while she was pregnant with SJP’s twins, and stealing some documents and other items from the property.

Michelle testified today that she went into hiding and sent her own son to live with relatives after the press learned of her address while she was pregnant. When she returned home after the birth, she noticed that tax files, ultrasound photos, and a cast of her stomach were all missing. A paparazzo also contacted her around the same time, and told her that two police officers had tried to sell some of her things to him.

Barry Carpenter maintained that he only entered the home to check on things when he noticed the basement door was open. He insisted that he didn’t take anything from the property.

Police Chiefs Barry Carpenter, Chad Dojack, and the son of Bridgeport Ohio’s Mayor have all been charged for plotting to break into Sarah Jessica Parker’s surrogate Michelle Ross’ home to steal items to sell to the tabloids.

Chief Carpenter, who actually did manage to make it into the home, was charged with burglary, receiving stolen property, theft in office, tampering with evidence, and unauthorized use of property or services. Chief Dojack was charged with complicity to burglary and complicity to receiving stolen property. The third man was also charged with complicity to receiving stolen property.

Coincidentally or not, when the story first broke, Bridgeport’s mayor John Callarik (the father of the third man arrested), told reporters that he was conducting an independent investigation into the case. At the time, he did not mention anything about his son being involved.

All three men plan to plead not guilty to all charges. If convicted, the police chiefs face up to eight years in prison.

SJP is currently dealing with all the crap that comes along with new twin babies, but word has it that she’s also working on packing up her stuff to move herself away from Matthew Broderick.

Sources say that Sarah is about to move into her newly-purchased multi-million dollar 9-bedroom Brooklyn home with the kids, but without her husband.

Apparently Matthew wants to stay in Manhattan to avoid a lengthy commute to his upcoming off-Broadway production, but SJP wants her kids to grow up outside of the busy city. No word yet on whether or not a divorce is in the future for the couple who have been married for 12 very long years.

Sarah Jessica Parker was caught driving her son James around at night with the headlights off in a brand new Mercedes minivan over the weekend.

A state trooper reportedly pulled SJP over on Route 27 in the Hamptons, and ascertained that the actress simply had no idea how to turn on the lights. Sarah told the cop that rather than trying to figure it out, she decided that she would just take her kid on an fun dark adventure ride instead.  The starstruck officer decided to let SJP off with a warning after giving her a simple lesson on how to turn on the headlights of a car.

Stupid SJP Cops Get Greedy

sjp-matthew-broderick-surrogate

Details on the case of the two cops who allegedly broke into the home of Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick’s surrogate, Michelle Ross are now slowly leaking out.

Rumor has it that Chief Barry Carpenter and Chief Chad Dojack had plans to break into Michelle’s home to take some pictures, and sell the goods to the National Enquirer for $15,000.

Chief Carpenter did the dirty work by successfully breaking into the property and taking 15 pictures of the place. He also allegedly tried to get voice mails from SJP off of Michelle’s phone.

The two cops then went to the Enquirer, but apparently they felt that whatever they found was worth way more than $15,000, so they tried to double the price. The Enquirer refused to pay the new amount, and instead, turned the pair in to the authorities.

Investigators have since seized Chief Carpenter’s cell phone and all the photos that he took.

The National Enquirer is denying involvement.

Police Chief Barry Carpenter has finally come up with a good excuse for why he broke into the home of Michelle Ross - the woman carrying Sarah Jessica Parker’s twin babies. According to Barry, he was just having a leisurely drive around town when he noticed that the door of a random house just happened to be open. He claims he entered the home because he was concerned, and just wanted to make sure the inhabitants were safe.

Apparently no one was home at the time, so like any concerned police chief, Barry then drove across town to meet with a National Enquirer reporter to “mess with him and jerk him around” with details of his most recent stake out.

For whatever reason, Barry’s police department isn’t buying his excuse. He’s currently under investigation for conspiracy to burglarize Michelle’s house.

According to Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Ross, the surrogate currently carrying her twin girls has been targeted by everyone from the tabloids, to hackers trying to dig into her personal information.  Sarah tells Access Hollywood,

I am incredibly outraged by the sort of extraordinary and unprecedented invasion of her privacy. The most unsavory things have been done. She’s had her phone hacked, her personal computer information hacked, she’s had threats against her and true harassment… She’s had friends threatened and family threatened and she’s had family of friends threatened.

SJP adds that Michelle is currently doing well, but that the stress from the attacks have negatively affected her pregnancy.

Michelle is due to give birth to the babies this summer.
