Tom Cruise crashed his motorcycle in L.A. yesterday when a car in front of him ran a stop sign, causing him to swerve and hit another vehicle.
Tom, who was spotted limping around after the accident, refused medical help. His red Ducati motorcycle appeared to be destroyed in the crash.
A magazine editor named Michael Davis Sapir filed a lawsuit against Tom Cruise last week, accusing him of hiring a P.I. to illegally wiretap his phone during a 2001 lawsuit brought against him.
During the original case, Tom claimed that Michael had falsely announced that he had a video of Tom “engaged in a homosexual relationship”. In the settlement later that year, Michael admitted that the tape did not exist. Now, Michael is accusing Tom and his lawyer Bert Fields of hiring private investigator, Anthony Pellicano to spy on him during the case.
Bert denied the allegations, saying,
The allegations are absolute garbage. We did not even hire Pellicano to work on the Sapir case.
Michael is demanding a minimum of $5 million in damages.
Ah, we love Star Magazine. This week’s most interesting story involves Tom Cruise and a Mobile Scientology Unit which he reportedly owns.
Apparently it’s a black van (American-made, of course), that has monitors, computer equipment, and other spy gadgets inside. The walls of the van are padded to keep Tom safe outsiders from being able to hear Tom’s conversations inside. One of Tom’s so-called friends confirmed the existence of the vehicle, claiming that Tom regularly uses it to communicate with other Scientologists around the world.
Former Scientology official, Marty Rathbun is accusing Tom Cruise of threatening to beat three disobedient Scientologists - Marc Yager, Guillaume Leserve, and Ray Mithoff, who failed to make proper confessions to their managers.
According to Marty, a few years ago, the leader of the Church of Scientology, David Miscavige berated 80-100 Scientology managers for not working hard enough to get confessions out of the three disobedient members. He announced that Tom had offered to come and “beat the living [bleep]” out of them if the managers couldn’t do the job themselves. The berated managers, afraid that Tom would be summoned, ended up aggressively beating Marc, Guillaume, and Ray.
Both Tom’s lawyer’s and the church spokesman have vigorously denied the assault. Marty, who claims to have a witness, told the New York Daily News over the weekend that he would welcome any legal attempt from the church to shut him up.
Marc Headley, a guy who worked as Tom Cruise’s apprentice at the Southern California Scientology headquarters, has just released a book, titled “Blown for Good”, which reveals all of Tom’s deepest, darkest Scientology secrets.
The book exposes some of Tom’s interesting antics, including his “book-and-bottle routine”, where he would spend days yelling at books, bottles, and door knobs, in order to “rehabilitate [his] ability to control things”.
Marc worked for Tom 19 years ago, and according to him, he was hired because Tom thought he was a trustworthy person who wouldn’t go public with the story. Unfortunately, Tom was wrong. The book’s available here, in case you’re interested.
Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise were spotted attending a massive Scientology party, celebrating the 25th aniversary of the International Association of Scientologiests, with their daughter Suri in England last Friday.
Sources say that when a choir took the stage, Tom began swaying back and forth to the music like an idiot. Katie looked bored, and tried to clap her hands, but was way off beat. Tom made a short speech to the crowd, and later was overheard bitching about Scientology protesters to another man at the event.
About 4,000 people were present at the event. Other celebs that made the trip included John Travolta, and his wife Kelly Preston.
Looks like the Cruises were unable to find a suitable Scientology school in Boston for their spawn. Katie Holmes was spotted in recent weeks, dropping her little alien, Suri Cruise off at the Yawkey Center For Early Education And Learning in Boston, MA. The school is run by the Catholic Charities of Boston.
According to several sources, Katie, who was raised Catholic, wanted Suri to have a similar upbringing. Tom was supposedly be against the idea. No word yet on how Katie was able to win that fight.
According to the Daily Mail, The Church of Scientology is drawing a little inspiration from Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes for their latest uniform designs.
The vampire-like threads are supposedly just giant black capes with red lining, and skirts or pants underneath. All of the designs have reportedly been approved by Tom, Katie, and church leader David Miscavige.
The lady pictured above is Claire Elisabeth Fields Cruise. She, like 50% of the crazies in the world, thinks that she’s also a bio-parent to Michael Jackson’s kids.
Claire filed three guardianship petitions in court today, claiming to have been previously married to Michael Jackson, and currently engaged to Blanket’s bio-dad. She also thinks she mothered one of Tom Cruise’s adopted kids.
Update: Julian Bleecker, the dude who Claire claims is her fiance and biological dad to one of these kids has just called Claire out on being a complete nut job. According to him, he went to high school with the chick, and she started calling him about a week ago, asking him to be her “unofficial fiance”. He claims that he is not the father.
Not only did Tom Cruise allow Katie Holmes out of her Scientoloprison to perform on the 100th episode of So You Think You Can Dance, he even let other men touch her during her routine! Check out the scandalous performance, above.
Apparently, without study technology, Tom Cruise would be a stupid untalented loser with dyslexia. With it, he’s an actor, producer, pilot, owner of three companies, and life-long learner.
We’re still not sure what exactly study technology is, but based on Tom’s speech, we’re guessing it has something to do with either robot replacements or brain transplants.
Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s little precious gift from Xenu, Suri is turning 3 later this month, and it seems her parents have decided that she’s just about ready to begin those Scientology audits. Tom has reportedly enrolled Suri in classes at Will Smith’s school, New Village Leadership Academy in LA. The school claims to be secular, but is rumored to be a breeding ground for little Scientolospawn.
The school will set TomKat back $8,810 per year, has a no-sugar policy (those poor children), and uses a Scientology-based learning method called Study Technology.
