MTV has just released this sneak peek video of the new “We Are The World” recording which was made earlier this week to benefit the crisis in Haiti.
Celine Dion, Lionel Richie, Usher, Justin Bieber, Pink, Lil Wayne, and The Jonas Brothers, and many others came together to make the emotional recording.
Usher filed a report with the Atlanta police department yesterday, claiming that a burglar broke into his GMC Yukon while he was shopping at an AT&T store on December 14th, and stole over $1 million worth of jewelry, $50,000 worth of furs, a computer with exclusive music tracks on it, and several other items out of the back of the vehicle.
An AT&T employee claiming to be a witness is not talking to reporters out of fear of retaliation.
Usher’s divorce with Tameka Foster Raymond was officially finalized in Fulton County Georgia on Wednesday.
The couple married in 2007 and filed for divorce in June of this year, citing irreconcilable differences. They have two young sons together.
Cops were called to Usher’s home three times last month after the singer had an argument with his soon-to-be-ex wife Tameka Foster over the custody of their two sons.
According to police reports, Tameka began fighting with Usher over the phone on Sept. 10. She then drove to Usher’s home, and demanded to take the children who were in his custody at the time. The kids were actually visiting Usher’s mother’s house, so Tameka took a trip over there, and began calling her and knocking on her door. Usher’s mother didn’t answer the door, and called police instead. When the cops arrived, Tameka was already gone. The next morning, Usher reportedly found scratches on his truck, so he called the cops again. The cops were unable to prove that Tameka had anything to do with the scratches. She had her rep release a statement today saying,
This is just another attempt to disparage Tameka. It’s simply an angry ploy that has no merit.
Tameka’s own truck was scratched but it’s not clear how. The truck is registered in her name, it’s not even Usher’s car. Why would she vandalize her own vehicle?
A few days after the car keying incident, Usher called the cops a third time, reporting that Tameka was on his property, and refusing to leave. Law enforcement showed up again, and once again, the stealthy Tameka was no where to be found.
These two are currently still working on finalizing their divorce.
Bobo’s Plumbing is taking Usher to court. The company is accusing the singer of refusing to pay a $2,335 bill for the installation of a shampoo bowl in his Atlanta home’s private salon.
Since Usher doesn’t have much hair, the work was probably done for his wife Tameka Foster, who he filed for divorce from in June. Usher has yet to respond to the suit.

Stevie Wonder and Usher, among others took to the stage at the Staples Center late last night to rehearse for Michael Jackson’s memorial, which will take place about an hour from now.
Usher performed Gone Too Soon, and a choir of children sang a version of We Are The World.
One witness told reporters,
The rehearsal was extremely moving - many people watching were in tears. The stars’ performances were superb but the set and the production were equally breathtaking.
There won’t be a dry eye in the house on the night when those huge pictures of Michael as a boy appear. And the performance of Gone Too Soon was incredible - Usher could not have picked a more fitting epitaph.
CNN reported earlier today that the rehearsal was interrupted several times when performers broke down in tears.

More details have been leaking in about Michael Jackson’s memorial service, which is set to take place at the L.A. Staples Center tomorrow.
Yesterday we confirmed that Jennifer Hudson would be performing at the event. Now, reports are saying that Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, and Usher will also make appearances. According to festival organizers, there will be a few surprise performers, someone will be performing Man in the Mirror, and Mariah Carey will sing “I’ll Be There”. The all-star line-up will come together at the end of the show to perform Michael’s 1992 hit, Heal the World.
The service will be broadcast on NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, and E!.

The National Enquirer is reporting that Usher, who recently filed for divorce from his 38-year-old wife Tameka Foster, has now fallen hard for 42-year-old Def Jam executive Grace Miguel.
Usher has been spotted out and about with Grace in recent weeks, but has so far denied any romantical action. According to the Enquirer though, Usher was happily separated from his wife all year, but only decided to finally cut things off and go through with the divorce after falling in love with Grace.
Tameka has reportedly been trying to save the marriage, but the only thing Usher wants from her now is joint custody of their two sons.
E! News got a hold of Usher’s divorce papers that were filed on Friday, and it looks like he’s preparing himself for an ugly battle against soon-to-be ex-wife Tameka Foster.
According to the documents, which list their separation date at July 2008, Usher is demanding a copy of just about every conceivable piece of documentation that Tameka may have received or produced during their time together. The documents include:
- Tax filings
- Paystubs
- Insurance policies
- Real estate docs
- Medical records
- Vehicle registrations
- Letters, notes, and cards from Usher himself
- All photographs taken during the marriage
- All voice mails on Tameka’s phone
- List of all gifts, jewelry and clothes given to Tameka during the marriage
- All reports from Tameka’s private investigator which she hired during the marriage (to follow Usher?)
- All diaries kept during the marriage
Finally, Usher is demanding joint custody of the couple’s two kids, Usher V and Naviyd Ely.
We mentioned a rumor the other day that Usher had filed for divorce from his wife Tameka Foster. Tameka had claimed at the time that she was completely unaware of the action, but did note that she had not spoken to her husband in days.
TMZ confirmed last night that Usher had definitely filed divorce papers in Fulton County, GA yesterday. The couple will be in court on July 15 for their divorce hearing.
Usher and Tameka have been married for almost two years and have two children together.

Marriages with lots of surprises are the best ones, which is why Usher must be the happiest man on earth right about now. In Touch is reporting that the singer was surprised to hear about his wife Tameka Foster’s pre-plastic surgery heart attack last week because he apparently didn’t even know she was getting the old nip tuck done.
Usher was informed of the complications while he was on his way to Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party, and had to turn around and fly out to Brazil to be by her side. Tameka, who screwed up Usher’s whole weekend, is unfortunately still fat.
Usher’s wife, Tameka Foster, who suffered a recent heart attack during a plastic surgery procedure in Brazil has been released from the hospital.
The 37-year-old mother of five who gave birth to her youngest son just two months ago, supposedly chose to have the liposuction done outside of the U.S. to avoid media coverage. The plan apparently worked, and Tameka is now said to be recovering well.
Though Usher’s family has stayed mum on the issue, the Brazilian media is now revealing details on Usher’s wife Tameka Foster’s condition. The website, G1 reported that the Usher’s baby mama suffered cardiac and respiratory arrest during a liposuction treatment last week. Doctors induced a coma for 24 hours, and Foster is now said to be in stable condition.
Foster is still in a hospital in Sao Paulo, but is now under the care of a US neuro-surgeon from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
